I wouldn’t say that McB is a culture carrier, but I would say that he is a leader. The two things are distinct in my opinion and I would say that some of the most famous leaders in history have done and said things over the course of their lives that some might view as distasteful.

It definitely does count, seeing as it's a goal. I'm sure Billy and Keith Edwards count them in their goal tallies, for instance.

It’s not exactly shocking that the same brain dead fans that can’t see Wilder for what he is also think McBurnie could do a job at a top end championship club.

Both have their best years well behind them and would be lucky to find another job in the Championship, it’s a shame for them that most clubs value ability over badge thumping.

We’re in August, all the other good out of contract players have found clubs (even Brewster ffs). The fact he’s still looking is all the warning I need.
