Well, if you're using them as a stepping stone, the only games you'll get real exposure will be those so you follow suit.
Let's be honest, if his aim is the Premier League he will stand out in those normal league games playing at 60% for the vast majority of the time.

I genuinely do think the lower level of competitiveness week to week is an attraction at this stage to get the move for big money to play in the PL.
If you aren't quite up to that level, or able to perform consistently then you've got the fall back of a nice big contract and you're set for life.

Yes but that’s how it happens.

I worked in Nottingham a few years ago and met an agent. He mainly managed players in and around the middle divisions but he told me the usual process is along these lines:

Club contact agent and say ‘Eyup would your player be interested in playing for us’
Yes/no
‘How much roughly would he want paying?’
If said agent and player are keen on the move then they may let slip any release or contract clauses at this point.

If those discussions were positive the club then contact the parent club.

They’ll ask if the player is for sale and what the rough asking price would be.

By the time the official offer is submitted the buying club already know how keen the player is, how much he expects to earn, probably know any contractual clauses and also know the expectation on transfer fee.

They get away with it because it’s all done via agents and everyone does it.

It’ll be why Forest have got so upset about the Spurs MGW approach as they think his agents leaked his contact clauses to Spurs.

This is the grey area. It’s only tapping up if the buying club speaks directly to the player without the prior knowledge of the selling club.

The rules are outdated because they don’t reflect modern footballers who will have an agent, PR rep, marketing rep, PA etc… so it’s entirely possible for a buying club to engage with the players ‘team’ without the player even being aware.

The thing is, there's Champions League football just to say you've played it, albeit for a side that's making up the number like Rangers, Anderlecht, Apoel Nicosia, Rosenborg, Club Brugge etc or actually competing in it for the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool, PSG etc.

John Lundstram playing for Rangers in the Champions League for example is like a League Two side drawing Liverpool in the FA Cup and being able to say they played against Mo Salah.

Not quite the same as London level, most people are really nice in Helsinki though, just sometimes they can be slightly more sharp there than the nice normal reserved level that the rest of the country are.

If you really had to define everyone here you have the wider Helsinki area (southerners) , Swedish speaking Finn's in the south west/Turku (the Welsh), Sami people to very north in Rovaniemi /Lapland (Northern Scotland) and then the rest of the country.

All the maps are fairly true, map 2 and 3 some it up though.

Never been to Tohmajärvi, Savonlinna is probably the nearest place I've been many years ago, been even then it's not that close.
