According to Hemmingham us and Leeds have been linked with Rob Holding. Arsenal are supposedly going to let him go to bring in new players.

27yrs old, 6ft 2in with premier league experience, he'd be a very good addition

Alright smart arse some of us don't spend our entire lives on here and when I put the title in it didn't show up on 'similar threads '
Don't bother mate, some right boring fuckers on here who spends 90% of their time on here. Went on the takeover chat after leaving it for a week and there was 20+ pages of the same people woffling bollocks, trying to play with each other. I always just go on newsnow for any relevant information now. I only use this to see people like yourself with suggestions.

Titch it's a shame as I've stopped looking at the takeover chat. There are 4 or 5 on there who seem to know what they are talking about whether that's because they have connections in the club or because of their expertise in other industries.

However when you go on the threads u have to wade through page after page of in jokes or irrelevance to hunt out the informed comments so it becomes a complete waste of time

great shout, great player if he still wants it.
At the age of 29 he’s played 125 league games. What makes you think he’s a great player? Sounds like one who put earning big money ahead of actually playing football to me.

Looks like Lampard is also interested in signing him.
Given our current situation he could be good for a season loan.

Didn’t the palace owner say we’ve got Callum chambers coming back when the palace fans were moaning in the summer that they’d not signed anyone?

Because I’ve seen him play football and I thought he was a baller. Is that ok for you or do you me to justify furthr? Didn’t realise you were some form of social police

Easy pal,the guy makes a fair comment, although the little I’ve seen him I always thought he was decent.

He definitely wasn't good enough for Arsenal anymore, but he also doesn't seem to be good enough for midtable Crystal Palace.

Not sure he would excite me here, to be honest. Most of these players who spent years at a big club and then move to a smaller club lose that hunger and just fade away.

Wow, you’re a tetchy one, aren’t you 😂

So when did you last see him play? Its been quite a few years since he last played regularly for anyone.

Ok, so if we’re signing two centre backs, one being somone like Phillips or Charlie Hughes then this would 100% make sense and would be a great acquisition in my opinion.
He’s unlikely to be able to play every game, so him working amongst the younger players could be perfect for us.

Really like to see him back, impressed when he played. Just seen his girlfriend has just signed for a US team which explains the link if true. Thought he liked up here nearer to where he's from originally

He would be exactly what we need at the back (provided he can stay fit and available).

I would go as far as saying pre match against Bristol City away in the play offs, I thought if Holding is playing then he will probably play all three games if we get through and I really fancied our chances with him in the side at Wembley. I saw the team sheet, saw Wilder had picked Robinson again and my heart sank as I knew he was there for Wembley if we made it there. I had serious doubts then (as I remembered Robinson being all over the shop v Sunderland at the Lane earlier in the season). On such small decisions, big futures are decided.
