Tough love approach. Teach ‘em that they’ve not made it and no-one is bigger than the gafferRak-Sakyi got dropped after he scored that excellent brace at home, too.
Very odd behaviour.

Would still like to see Seriki and Brooks together down the right.Shout out to Cannon as well on left. On,y player looking like they’re struggling is Moore, just not fast enough, can’t use ball at feet and no awareness of players around him.
Biggest problem we will have with youngsters is holding onto Brooks, Oné and possibly Seriki come January. Expect Leeds to be all over them.
I’d like to Brooks given a chance on the left , his natural side instead of this inverted winger bollocks . Towards the end of last season fullbacks pushed right up on him often resulting in him passing or retreating .Would still like to see Seriki and Brooks together down the right.
Just feel that Brooks has the defensive capability to cover for Seriki when he goes forward. Always felt it was a weakness of ours that the forward wide player never provided enough help defensively. A Seriki/Brooks combo solves that problem.
Andy goram, or did they both wear number 1 I can't rememberGiven the number 11 shirt. Feels significant, not as grand as the number 10, but it got me wondering - who've been our notable number 11's?

Reece , Scullion ?Given the number 11 shirt. Feels significant, not as grand as the number 10, but it got me wondering - who've been our notable number 11's?
Still weird though - need to play your in-form playersTough love approach. Teach ‘em that they’ve not made it and no-one is bigger than the gaffer
On the rare occasions they were on tge pitch together they worked together really wellWould still like to see Seriki and Brooks together down the right.

Was he tossing it off or was it wilder being a twatMust be working hard in training for Selles instead of tossing it off like he was for Wilder. Weird decision last season to drop him every time he did anything good.
Reece , Scullion ?
Field?Salmons ?
No. 8Salmons ?

11… Glyn Hodges, Alex Sabella, Dane Whitehouse,.
Agreed. Was there, that fateful day at Port Vale.Three great players who would be contenders for my best ever Blades X!.
If I had to pick one, it would be Dane, for his workrate, passion and desire. He could play a bit too.
Me too , tragic.Agreed. Was there, that fateful day at Port Vale.
He was my favourite player at the time. Always held out hope that he'd make it back. Gutted. Saw him a year or so later, driving a white XR3i near Townend. Somehow, seeing him outside of football, made up for it.Agreed. Was there, that fateful day at Port Vale.
Norwood was the first player to stop me saying 'we need a Hodges' and it took a generation. Be interesting to see if Selles finds and implements a pinger. Seems like the playstyle would benefit from one.11… Glyn Hodges, Alex Sabella, Dane Whitehouse,.
Also known as "Lino"Field?
Gil Reece , not every season I think but often enough……Given the number 11 shirt. Feels significant, not as grand as the number 10, but it got me wondering - who've been our notable number 11's?
Before my time. I think I saw Woody play, maybe, but could be a trick of memory Vs research.Gil Reece , not every season I think but often enough……
Peck and Arblaster also I believe in U21's?On the rare occasions they were on tge pitch together they worked together really well
You could see the understanding they've developed
I.wanted to see more of it but it was one of many things tufty had no time for
Well played Sir!!!Andy goram, or did they both wear number 1 I can't remember
That works too, gives Burrows defensive help for when he goes forward.I’d like to Brooks given a chance on the left , his natural side instead of this inverted winger bollocks . Towards the end of last season fullbacks pushed right up on him often resulting in him passing or retreating .
I remember wilder saying something about brooks attitude in training around that time
Almost like a dig towards JRS
Whatever happened they were both mismanaged and Brewster and BBD ended up playing there which was beyond baffling
I’ve only seen the York game from this preseason but I noticed Hamer trying it a few times. A lot more direct rather than the diagonals that Norwood was famous for.Norwood was the first player to stop me saying 'we need a Hodges' and it took a generation. Be interesting to see if Selles finds and implements a pinger. Seems like the playstyle would benefit from one.
