I always prefer a border around. It makes it stand out better on the red stripes. However, i'd say they've done it too big. Should just be around the letters...

Won’t be buying it, as I never do, but it feels like a proper Blades’ home shirt.

Hm I'm not keen tbh. Would rather a shirt with significant emissions, irresponsible material sourcing, inefficient manufacturing, and unsustainable logistics....Which looks a bit sexier!

I'm back in Sheffield next month so hope the away kit is worth the drive to the club shop one day!

Going to be hard to choose which one to go for this year. Even the training wear is decent.

At first l was thrown by the central stripe, but having read mattbianco1 post about how often we've not had a central red stripe, and properly looking at the design, it's a good effort. Easy 8/10 and I'm completely indifferent about the back - no doubt it'll look better with a name and numbers on, but meh - solid back isn't make or break for me.

So the leaked pictures that were circulating didn't have a plain back, which is worrying as I was quite looking forward to seeing that away kit!

The collar and those bits on the sleeve complicate the design for me, less is more sometimes. The last home shirt to nail it for me was that effort by Avec. Ah if only we could get back with Umbro for next season.

The red back is the problem. I don't know why we persist with that in so many home shirts. I'll not be buying it. I'll buy the latest retro one if there is another one of those instead.

The front is nice though.

It's laziness or cheaper to produce without stripes on the back. And it makes it look shite

Don’t get me wrong, should always be a central red stripe, but it’s a welcome change once & again to give something different. Some of the Macron efforts were good, despite results Maybe one day we’ll get a central badge and manufacturer again…
