They had 190 million of payments due this season

Wether they have renagotiated some of that I dont know but they won't be spending much in my humble opinion

They paid £35 million for Rutter, taking into account wages they will be making a loss on him at £40 mill.

From what I've seen of him they're very lucky to be getting 20m, let alone double that. Any loss could and should have been much more substantial
 
Kind of makes you wonder why Brighton have decided to take it up.
They have been quite astute last few years so either see something many of us don’t or it’s the going rate for a premier league striker.

On the subject of Farke.
Found it odd that in his presser today he was very open on the situation and stated Ritter had been in and pretty much said Bye to everyone…so either his agent has been working on this in the background and Brighton waited til the last minute to make sure nobody else was able to gazump them…or he’s happy he’s off and will take whatever they offer.
Seemed strange their manager would be so open about it.

I think he is a good player who has a high ceiling.
I rate him higher than Joao Pedro who Brighton paid £30 mill for.

Good managers tend to be a bit arrogant and arsey when things don’t go their way. Even the much loved (by the press) Danny Rohl has started being a bit tetchy!

It was a joke you quent, given his long greasy hair, dodgy beard, beady eyes and a voice that sounds like a germanic Aled Jones. A face that looks like it's been pepper sprayed many times by scared females. He looks like someone who hangs around primary schools, sat in his van, shouting "milchig milchig" and "Möchtest du ein paar Welpen sehen" out of the window. If he owned a fast food truck you wouldn't want to buy a bratwurst from him for fear of where it had been. A face that screams "I lick toilet seats for pocket change". There you go, analyse that 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I can do humour particularly because I look like that myself.
 
Reported in the media as telling an injury prone Patrick Bamford he won't be featuring in his plans this season. A sharp contrast with our own approach.
