that's rightAndy Liddell?
I know!! That’s why I was looking if I could find any othersOur very own Harry Johnson jnr is the only player to be the leading League goalscorer for 2 clubs
201 for Sheffield United
104 for Mansfield Town
It's 129 in all comps. I think those above are just league goalsThought BS was now equal with Fred Tunstall on 129 Silent?
That list seems to have been prepared by a drunk person. Dunne, Tunstall and Jones are right. Not sure anyone else is.
Is that list top division goals only? That list seems to have been prepared by a drunk person. Dunne, Tunstall and Jones are right. Not sure anyone else is.
The correct top 22 (league goals only):
Harry Johnson 201
Alan Woodward 158
Keith Edwards 143/144
Jimmy Dunne 143
Doc Pace 140
Fred Tunstall 129
Billy Gillespie 127
Jimmy Hagan 117
Billy Sharp 117
Jock Dodds 113
Joe Kitchen 105
Jack Pickering 102
Alf Ringstead 101
Arthur Brown 100
Brian Deane 93
Harold Brook 89
Derek Hawksworth 88
Fred Priest 68
Bobby Barclay 67
Colin Morris 67
Mick Jones 63
Billy Dearden 61
Ah yes, probably. Is that list top division goals only?
Is that list top division goals only?
Harry Johnson only played in the top division for us for a start.Ah yes, probably.
John Aldridge is interesting on that list, considering he scored another 33 league goals in Spain for Sociedad. If you added those on he would be 3rd in that list.
Where's the Mcburnie chap a lot go on about?I just saw that Josh Windass has left the other lot after scoring 53 goals.
It got me thinking that not many Blades players have reached this figure. So i checked the last 40 years and it's not great (i'm only including players who's career with us STARTED within 40y, sorry Keith Edwards).
That's it. 4 players in the past 40 years have reached 50 goals for us. That's not great reading
- Billy Sharp = 129
- Brian Deane = 119
- Tony Agana = 52
- Dane Whitehouse = 51
Just off the list:
Recent departures...
- Ched Evans = 48
- Ian Bryson = 44
- Michael Brown = 35
- Richard Cresswell = 30
Of the current squad, our our leading scorers:
- David McGoldrick = 30
- Phil Jagielka = 22
- Iliman Ndiaye = 21
- Kieron Freeman = 20
- John Fleck = 16
- Chris Basham = 14
- Jayden Bogle = 12
Why can't we hold onto any decent scorer?
- Gus Hamer = 15
- Anel Ahmedhodzic = 12
- Tyrese Campbell = 11
- Jack Robinson = 7
- Harrison Burrows = 6
- Kieffer Moore = 6
Too many to count.Where's the Mcburnie chap a lot go on about?
Oh yeah. He should be above Didzy:Where's the Mcburnie chap a lot go on about?
Thanks, I thought Woody must have scored more than 91.That list seems to have been prepared by a drunk person. Dunne, Tunstall and Jones are right. Not sure anyone else is.

He's like my 2nd* favourite all time striker tooThis is still redundant anyway in terms of having 50 or over but just thought I'd mention him anyway that in your 'Just off the list' section you've missed out someone that goes in between Brownie and Cresswell, James Beattie with 34 goals.
My ‘Sheffield United strikers called Beattie’ tier list…He's like my 2nd* favourite all time striker too
I'm sorry James.
*MK1, not MK2 version
My ‘Sheffield United strikers called Beattie’ tier list…
1. James
2. Jevan
8. Craig
It's hard to judge really. Does McBurnie scoring 13 goals in the Premier League make him better than better than Billy Sharp who only scored 2 goals in the Premier League, or worse than Ched Evans who scored 29 goals in 36 League One matches?
Apologies, my mistake but I'm sure you get my point.Billy Sharp scored 6 Premier League goals.
