Yes, I get that payments are staggered over a number of years etc. but surely a team can't just in effect put everything on the slate and hope that everything is ok.

Buying and selling players as assets seems a bit odd when you think about it as surely the answer is, if you can't pay, the selling club reclaims the player!?

We negotiated a transfer ban (3 windows I believe) into a points deduction so we could sign players last summer.

But how visible is this information because at the moment we have Wednesday not paying fees owed, Hull, last season we did.
