Ok, I just want to be the first to say I've never heard of him but I can definitely pronounce his first name!

He's 23 now so he's a former under 21 international 5.10ft tall so not the tallest.

Who's been leaking ?? Local press with suggestions ! That'll get shut down hard 🤣🤣🤣

If we can pronounce any part of their name it’s a NO from me

Pompey bid for him

This lads been linked with a few other EFL clubs, Swansea have said they’re not interested and never has been. Smells like an agent fishing for a pay day.

This is a very curious and interesting approach we're adopting.

It 'might' be the beginning of an improved recruitment model, finger's crossed.

Agreed - I approve of it in many ways. You obviously only need one or two to really progress to make it work. Couple of players signed for nowt become 10m or 20m players - then the whole thing makes sense.

I do hope we don’t forget the value of experience and proven commodities. Most of our rumoured targets under wilder weren’t exciting but they did at least set a bar of competence. We are seemingly bringing in a lot of unknowns.

A mix of the two would work well for me. I feel like rob holding would be a very useful signing (given his experience and how he played in limited minutes) for example but feel like he might be off the new owners lists. Especially if your combining it with an 19 year old learning his trade

If I were Holding I'd think carefully before any potential return to the Blades. The last time we had him on loan he
barely got a look in. He must be at his wit's end in trying to understand why he wasn't used more often.
Admittedly a change of manager may influence any decision he might make, but it really was one of the most puzzling loans I can remember us making.

Maybe one of the reasons why the board got shut of Wilder. You can't bang on about needing reinforcements, be given the tools and the money you've asked for, then keep them in the cupboard whilst you play with your worn out inferior toys.

Well you can...provided you hit the performance targets (promotion) otherwise you come across as someone who isn't clear on what they are doing. Chuck in a few silly moments such as Plymouth away and you have the board wondering if you are still the right man...

He put a Instagram post at the end of the season thanking Wilder profusely for his time here.

That was only because it was so bad at palace, at least he got a few minutes on the pitch and trained with the first team
