You don't loan 2 young CBs and then play them together, so no. Unless we're buying him.
 
Personally next 3 , right back, another "permanent " Centre half and midfielder, trouble is we've got 2 players on the books who won't get game time in jlt and rnd ( unless there's things happening behind the scenes to move them out ) but can't see beyond teams in league 2 who would take them

Player 3 = Anel
Player 4 = Bindon
Player 5 = Seriki
Player 6 = Brooks
Player 7 = Arblaster
Player 8 = Hamer? (Freiburg rumour) or Peck or O'Hare?
Player 9 = new RW?
Player 10 = Campbell
Player 11 = Moore?

I expect Cannon to be made to earn his wage this season.

That's a potential start though it could be Campbell and Cannon up top as Moore isn't exactly dynamic.
 
has to be campbell and cannon as the front 2 under selles just dont think moore will be anything but a plan b if were in trouble

It stills seems a little odd. You assume both would start given Anel will be off, but it would seem odd to have two relatively inexperienced players as your starting CBs.
 
I think one would be back up. Ideally you wd have an experienced centre back at that level (say an Anel, Souttar or Worrall or a lookalile) with either Bindon or Phillips as first choice and then someone like Holding and the other kid as back up.

Ie first choice Anel Bindon back up Holding Phillips with Robinson as a very last resort 5th choice.

I can't imagine Forest loan us Bindon unless we're going to start him. And I can't believe we'd pay £6 million for a 20 year old back-up or that they'd sign as a back up.

Him and Phillips play different sides don’t they?
The very young defence would in some ways be concerning but there’s also something quite exciting about it too.

Cooper ( still convinced we need a better back up keeper than Davies)
Seriki, anel, bindon, burrows
( baptiste,Shackleton, McCallum)
Peck,blaster
( tom Davies as back up but would imagine we'll bring someone in to replace vini )
Ohare, hamer, brooks
( we've the young lads jeff and Christian but how far off are they ? )
Campbell
(Cannon and one I'd say Moore isn't a selles type player )

Beyond these lads anyone else near 1st team squad ??

As I've said elsewhere jlt and rnd need to move on

You can say it as much as you like, but who’s buying and picking up their wages at the levels they’re likely to move to?

Whether they are anywhere near the squad or not is irrelevant. There is absolutely no chance any other team is paying them the wages they are on here( unless Wrexham have a brain fart ] . So they either stay, we pay them off or we massively subside their wages to send them on loan ( which they can refuse to do)
 
Got a feeling Caceres might be in and around the team next season, Impact sub or maybe even start some games depending how the friendlies go

That completely irrelevant. You’re saying we should move them on and I’m asking how you would do that? It’s practically impossible unless you’re spending a couple of million from our budget on paying them up.

It used to be a club would put you on the transfer list , at that point the club would have to pay so much directly to the player as a "sweetener "
I've no idea how it works now ?
Rnd as we all can see has lost his physical mojo and depending on how much he can get his full fitness back I doubt we'll see him in a blades shirt again.
So are you saying the club should spend a couple of million just letting them pick up a wage with no contribution.
My take from this is you still think Jlt should still be in the first 11 ?
I actually love the guy and think he's been a terrific servant for the club !

We won’t get rid of RND or JLT without them receiving the full value of their current contracts, either from the buying club or from us.

Not spoiling at all but your proposals make no logical sense.
You say you want rid of the players who are on good contracts for our level.
You say they’re no longer able to play at that level yet you expect someone else to pay for them and pick up their contacts?

So far, so good. I’ve no idea where you get that I’m a fan of either player or think we should keep them. Where have I suggested at any point either should be in the starting 11? You just made it up.

I’m simply pointing out that you can’t sell them if no one is going to buy them or pay the wages they’re already on. That’s a simple fact.
So if you pay them off it will cost a couple of million from this years budget.

Given the above is pretty much factual, what is your plan to move them on? It isn’t possible without incurring a cost to us so what is your plan?

We've not seen Christian play yet ,so we might be pleasantly surprised, just hope we can get another centre half over the line before the season starts, personally I'd like to see what's happening with holding ,probably wrong ( as some people like to point out ) but hasn't he played right back ? ( still has a year left on his contract but hows his relationship with glasner ) Plus Phillips on a permanent
