Wilder has gone ffs ,get over it it was his time.
Get behind Ruben as said elsewhere its Sheffield united not Wilder's Sheffield united.
He'll have watched every game from last season And has des Taylor who is a very respected scout who will have reams of information.
We've not lost anyone yet and would imagine there's deals very close.

It depends on what you individually see as tits up. If all you care about is results and we don't reach 92 again then you'll claim it's tits up.

If we establish a playing style where we play faster, attacking football where players keep the ball, run with it and we see individual players become more consistent and improve, but it doesn't yield the same points return and we end up in the play offs again. Irrespective of whether we then went up I wouldn't deem that as tits up as it's progress towards the long term goal.

The only thing that would definitely be tits for both ways of thinking is if we're in the bottom half of the table by Christmas.

So this isn't really a question that can be answered, especially when we don't know who we're going to sign and sell, and don't know how we're going to set up and play.

Bit too early to be asking this yet.

With the number of our fans who can't look beyond our past and see change as failure I think some of them are already taking the same stuff as Wendy fans. I laugh at our fans mocking them for living in the past when many of ours are equally guilty.

Who should we sign this summer? First names have got to be Walker, Brooks and Calvert-Lewin, then we can look at Worrall and O'Brien too.

The only right answer here is it’s wayyyyy to early to tell.

RS will be working his arse off right now going through all the footage from last season and assessing the squad.

We won’t know our realistic chances until after the squad is completed.

No point in pissing the bed if we sell X but then a week later go and buy Y and Z.

There seems to be a fair few blades who would be predicting a car crash season whoever replaced Wilder. Even Pep, simply because it’s not Wilder.

I’ll predict that by the end of the season we’ll be very different to the team that just finished last season but still be one of the best sides in the division. It’ll take some patience and adjustment from the fans but ultimately if we stick with it I feel like we’ll push the ceiling of the club higher

It’s going to be a long summer listening to some of the absolutely ridiculous moans happening already. AI this, owners that. Fucking wait and see.

So it's a tits up season if we're bottom half by Christmas? How long do you expect it to take before any new style of play clicks? You're giving them 5 months? If it's a long term plan it'll probably take much longer. The worry is that it takes time to show improvement. Will the board stick with the manager if we are bottom half by Christmas? Too many imponderables to second guess what's going to happen.

Why not confident? We finished 3rd last season, and yes loans have gone back, but how many were pivotal to our finishing position. Have the rest of the players just gone crap or do you think Selles can't man manage the same players who finished 3rd?

Anel (maybe, I don't think there is as much interest as there was)

We also know that Selles playing style may mean some of our current squad don't fit the bill.

a tits up season, to me, will only be if we lose some players and don't replace them/bring in players to suit the new manager.

Otherwise, bring on the next chapter, what ever it might bring.

I don't mind being patient, if I can see the direction of travel and end game.

I think in order to get promoted and stay up, it will take more than a good transfer window and winning the league. if that is what they want to achieve, we will have to be patient.
