That kid from liverpool we've recently signed forgot his name but he could potentially come good too, Was captain of the U15s I think? The fact this AI-led model has so far only been recruiting development players is fine and all that but one thing the club has absolutely excelled at is youth recruitment. First team level is where we’ve struggled, in the youth teams they’ve taken the likes of David Brooks, Ndiaye, Peck and perhaps even soon Onè and turned them into 10m+ assets to the club on a minimal budget. One of these Bulgarian signings has to be a hit otherwise we’d have been better off allocating that money to the people who had already been doing good work at that level.
Did I read the rules are different bringing young players from "elsewhere " to recruitment in Europe ??Computer says ‘No good players in Brazil’
I don’t know, did you?Did I read the rules are different bringing young players from "elsewhere " to recruitment in Europe ??
What’s the position on their pitch. Is it laid? Last I saw was a picture of tractors in the sand. The fact they've replaced the pitches at the stadium and training ground is shameful when they can't even pay wages.
007 Licenced to sell you players he owns pretending AI did it instead. The fact the picture shows he is playing poker says it all.Who the f*ck is James Bord??
Plus the Scottish striker from Hamilton and it sounds like we’re chasing an 18 year old striker from Swindon who’s broken into their first team. Might be that we’re just pushing the boat out (comparatively) on academy recruitment this summer. That kid from liverpool we've recently signed forgot his name but he could potentially come good too, Was captain of the U15s I think?
Why does it matter what division Dunfermline are in? They can still use the same technology but the parameters will be very different for them. They won't be trying to sign players from European top divisions, they'll be looking lower down the pyramids.Old cynic in me suggest this chancer is lining his pockets (if this goes through).
Not sure how a data and AI model that a Scottish 2nd division team uses would be any good for us. Surely we should be going with a better reputable company?
But again thats me being cynical and a bit of a football snob I guess.
So he's a real guy. He's a "friend" of the owners and not an employee. He's No background in football, or even sports, and he plays poker for a living.007 Licenced to sell you players he owns pretending AI did it instead.
He’s a part of the consortium that owns us and it’s his AI data analytics software that we’re now using to help with recruitment for the development squad.Who the f*ck is James Bord??
And yet he Co-owns DunfirmlineSo he's a real guy. He's a "friend" of the owners and not an employee. He's No background in football, or even sports, and he plays poker for a living.
What am I missing here?

I barely understand the rules of football. All this international points and 4 talent exceptions stuff is way above my pay grade. I’m just looking forwards to the first match and hoping we have an attacking side that gives us entertainment and success regardless how we sourced and bought players.Did I read the rules are different bringing young players from "elsewhere " to recruitment in Europe ??
It doesn't matter. That's why I said its more me being a football snob and cynical. Why does it matter what division Dunfermline are in? That's like saying Man City shouldn't use it because they're in the Premier League and we're in the Championship. Their searches would come up with players like Mbappe, which ours wouldn't.
It's a very naive way of thinking.
Suggest listening to this episode of the Pinch podcast. Very informative on all the rules around foreign recruitment.Did I read the rules are different bringing young players from "elsewhere " to recruitment in Europe ??
Matt’s not appeh
Matt want to concentrate on his golf at the moment and come off twitter .
Matt’s not appeh
Hardly heading up recruitment , academy punts . The aim is to develope a system that brings good youngsters from all continents .Disagree with him?
Yes. Nothing at all suggests he's 'leading our recruitment', it's just more hyperbolic nonsense from another Chris Wilder supporterDisagree with him?
Ipswich literally use the same one as Brighton but had to stop when they got promoted due to league rules. Now relegated they can use it again! It does feel a bit like this James Bord guy is just milking the AI buzzword train..
It's not like he's an AI scientist who's been developing it all his life. And I'm not aware of this ShortCircuit AI company making any groundbreaking developments in AI.
I'm not saying using AI in theory is a bad idea, but I'm not entirely convinced this James Bord guy is the one we should be using.
