Obviously a lot will change when players arrive/leave but this sums up our squad right now (4-3-3).

A lot of development players and players with uncertain futures at the Lane, so squad depth is a must along with quality starting players.

We were also shit at defending leads after Soutts left so a centre half

We also have players that are professionals that are unable to play 90 mins so either improve the fitness of the player or get a new fitness team.

Oh and if we sack Wilder a new manager.

For me we need to strengthen up the Defence.

The only Defensive position we have any form of depth is left back. All the others are shocklingly light!

Attacking wise (on the basis that no one leaves which is unlikely) we have quite a strong squad, even though they may have underperformed in terms of goals last season. Look at the Bristol games where we somehow cut loose, and our performance against Coventry.

Trying to do an attacking 4-3-3 with a CAM rather than the flat 3 midfield of a 4-3-3 (apparently Selles favours an attacking 4-3-3).

Some of these are more achievable that you think as potential loan market too. With others on this this I would snap up

David Zima (Slavia Prague / Torino) - Would consider this one- Potential as does do plenty of game time - 37 matches last season 6ft 3 too
Alexander Djiku (Fenerbahçe) - Although harsh to rule out based on nationality we would lose him in African cup of Nations and not the best.

Maksymilian Pingot (Lech Poznań / loaned) - Would consider this one- 6'2, advantage and can cover 2 positions as can play CB too
Valentino Vermeulen (Jong PSV / Helmond Sport) - Would consider this one - for squad depth
Hugo Siquet (Cercle Brugge / on loan from Freiburg) - Potential Loan?

We're overstocked with central midfielders and need proper wingers to balance the squad.
