but not achieved anything after 2012, he wasnt as succesful in the prem as wilder who finished 9th
We should employ some guy who has a few promotions but never managed about league 2?Jokanovic v2.
Absolutely bang average lower league manager who has achieved precisely zero in his career so far.
Won 5 home games in charge of Hull last season. Five. All season. Out of 23 games. With a pretty solid squad.
There is absolutely zero evidence to suggest that Selles could do in any way a better job than Wilder. Stop reaching. It's idiotic.
theres someone out there who is better , that is for certain ,,, Ruben Selles is not on that listI do genuinely wonder which manager the Wilder stalwarts would accept.
From some of the discussion today, only Chris Wilder because no one is better.
I think it’s fair enough at the moment given that emotions are running high. Understandable and forgivable. But you just know some of them will still be at it when the season starts. The number of people looking backwards rather than forwards is remarkable
Sounds nothing like jokanovicJokanovic v2.

come on then. Name some names.theres someone out there who is better , that is for certain ,,, Ruben Selles is not on that list
Tbf, our old manager who is a club legend hasn't even been sacked yet. His sacking is clearly controversial, so it'll obviously take a few days to sink in before most are looking forward. The number of people looking backwards rather than forwards is remarkable
Yep - as I suspected, you can't. Cheers though, always an easy way to illustrate my point.Farke

I agree. But the test of their mettle will be how long it goes on for.Tbf, our old manager who is a club legend hasn't even been sacked yet. His sacking is clearly controversial, so it'll obviously take a few days to sink in before most are looking forward.

That Hull squad was anything but solid. Most Hull fans liked him, he did a good job. They were rooted to the foot of the table when he joined because of their crazy chairman, he had them 12th in the form table.Jokanovic v2.

The usual people will be ready to claim they knew all along that whoever we got in was useless after every poor result. Will be hard to notice the difference between them and people who are bitter about the new manager being Wilder's successor specifically.I agree. But the test of their mettle will be how long it goes on for.
Can you explain to me why Wilder is a better manager than those 3 since those 3 all did better than him this season?Yep - as I suspected, you can't. Cheers though, always an easy way to illustrate my point.

Selles was only there from December. Maybe do some homework in future.selles is the one manager in the championship with less home wins than sausage 5 to rhols 6
Are you seriously comparing someone who managed a club for half a season to those who managed a club for a full season?selles is the one manager in the championship with less home wins than sausage 5 to rhols 6
imagine the chat room in here with only 5 home wins in the championship , be full of moaners
That’s about the level of debate you’ll get from him, yes.Are you seriously comparing someone who managed a club for half a season to those who managed a club for a full season?
Some people seemingly will be happy if we play sexy football but aren't involved in a automatic play off hunt as it's all about vibes these daysFootballs become uber transient, but this just doesn't sit right (and I have nothing against Selles). What will be the club's expectations of our next manager next season?

That would be more motivating than 'promotion or sacked'Should it be anything more complicated than "sort by budget do no worse than that"?
I imagine he took the job under the condition that he'd receive some level of backing and get some players that fit his system. He didn't. Ergo, I don't think it's right to judge him.Annoys me all the ‘poor Slav’ rhetoric from some people, we would limply lose to the likes of Blackpool at home having barely been able to pass a ball for 90 min, yet because ‘the players didn’t suit hit system’ he was unlucky or something? I highly, highly doubt he took the job thinking he had millions to spend on his own players, we were skint and he would’ve known that, guess whose horrendous judgement on players for huge money got us in that mess…
The football club needs a change. Wilder has himself to blame entirely for bottling promotion AND the play off final. He deserves to be replaced.
