but not achieved anything after 2012, he wasnt as succesful in the prem as wilder who finished 9th

Why is a season Wilder managed four years later relevant to the appointment that was made in 2016?

You could just admit your argument is flawed for once but instead your digging your heels in again.

Jokanovic v2.

Absolutely bang average lower league manager who has achieved precisely zero in his career so far.

Won 5 home games in charge of Hull last season. Five. All season. Out of 23 games. With a pretty solid squad.

There is absolutely zero evidence to suggest that Selles could do in any way a better job than Wilder. Stop reaching. It's idiotic.
We should employ some guy who has a few promotions but never managed about league 2?

The number of people looking backwards rather than forwards is remarkable
I think it’s fair enough at the moment given that emotions are running high. Understandable and forgivable. But you just know some of them will still be at it when the season starts.

Gareth Southgate , mind you he lost his big last match too, you could argue

micheal Carrick is interesting by comparison

Tbf, our old manager who is a club legend hasn't even been sacked yet. His sacking is clearly controversial, so it'll obviously take a few days to sink in before most are looking forward.

I'd give it to Muscat with Warnock DOF.

put in sufc next manager betting
on google

Which gives me articles from this morning with Selles hugely odds on, and nothing resembling what you posted. If Selles is actually 3/1 on any live market I am emptying the clip, which is why I ask you

That Hull squad was anything but solid. Most Hull fans liked him, he did a good job. They were rooted to the foot of the table when he joined because of their crazy chairman, he had them 12th in the form table.

I agree. But the test of their mettle will be how long it goes on for.
The usual people will be ready to claim they knew all along that whoever we got in was useless after every poor result. Will be hard to notice the difference between them and people who are bitter about the new manager being Wilder's successor specifically.

selles is the one manager in the championship with less home wins than sausage 5 to rhols 6

imagine the chat room in here with only 5 home wins in the championship , be full of moaners

Yep - as I suspected, you can't. Cheers though, always an easy way to illustrate my point.

Eh? If you're going to try and argue with the adults at least try and make it vaguely coherent.
Can you explain to me why Wilder is a better manager than those 3 since those 3 all did better than him this season?

Or is Wilder a better manager than everyone else because he thumps his chest and gets pissed with the fans?

I was pointing out that when we appointed Wilder in the first place he had never managed about league 2 level. So by most of the anti-Selles comments on here today, we shouldn't have employed him.

You're not an adult.

Are you seriously comparing someone who managed a club for half a season to those who managed a club for a full season?

Footballs become uber transient, but this just doesn't sit right (and I have nothing against Selles). What will be the club's expectations of our next manager next season?

Annoys me all the ‘poor Slav’ rhetoric from some people, we would limply lose to the likes of Blackpool at home having barely been able to pass a ball for 90 min, yet because ‘the players didn’t suit hit system’ he was unlucky or something? I highly, highly doubt he took the job thinking he had millions to spend on his own players, we were skint and he would’ve known that, guess whose horrendous judgement on players for huge money got us in that mess…

The football club needs a change. Wilder has himself to blame entirely for bottling promotion AND the play off final. He deserves to be replaced.

Some people seemingly will be happy if we play sexy football but aren't involved in a automatic play off hunt as it's all about vibes these days

The board have set their standards now. If we slip from where we were last year then he's going to be at risk.

Should it be anything more complicated than "sort by budget do no worse than that"?

I imagine he took the job under the condition that he'd receive some level of backing and get some players that fit his system. He didn't. Ergo, I don't think it's right to judge him.

There is something of a narrative (not from you, true99blade) that because Slav was an attack minded, foreign manager and was deemed to have failed, all other attack minded, foreign managers are also doomed to fail because 'it's not the Blades way.'
