No chance of £15m for Ahmedhodzic. £8m (€10m) at most unfortunately given that we're in the Championship and he's only got a year left on his deal. That said, I've no idea where his buyers would come from, possibly Serie A.

Are you OK?

This is amazing.

Good start.

We'll do well to get £20m for 27-year-old Gus Hamer with his obvious flaws
Ahmedhodzic, as above, has 1 year left. Even if he still had 5 years on his contract he'd not be worth more than £15m.
Souza is in the £15-20m bracket. Sander Berge vibes for me.

Agree on Cooper and that means no-one will be coming in for him
Burrows - has too many flaws in his game (particularly physically) for any PL sides to want to sign him and even if they did, we'd get offered £10m at most.
Campbell - if he can't last 65 minutes in the Championship he has no chance in the top flight.

I would be praying alongside you but they played Wilder like a fiddle with Cannon in January. They were never interested in him.

Where to start with this? O'Hare is not a L2 player unless you're the sort who thinks Sean Dyche is a top level manager....oh.

Are you suggesting Burrows is a midfielder? Did you watch the FA Cup game?! Bogle got his head turned by Leeds. They're a bigger club than us with better training facilities and would have (at least) doubled his wages. We did well to get £8m for him. Osula would happily have stayed but £15m from Newcastle was the right move for all parties - we got the income we needed to sign Cooper and Burrows; Osula got a PL move; Newcastle got a decent prospect for a relatively (at PL level) small fee.
Jebbison was a combination of bad fortune, arguable misdiagnosis and a massive ego. Not sure any of that was to do with Wilder.

You don't think Ahmedhodzic can play on the left of a two or three but want to keep Robinson? Do you watch United matches with your eyes closed?

Now you're just being ridiculous. It would be great to see Norrington-Davies back to his best but the injuries have taken their toll and he's now at L2 level.

Burrows at Watford? In a conversation about Kieffer Moore? You've lost me.

Southampton paid £10m for Brereton Diaz and put him on £35k per week. They're not going to suddenly accept half of the fee and he's not going to take a 60% pay cut.

This is sensible.

Where does Brewster fit in with Burnley? Or Sunderland? He's never scored a Premier League goal.

No-one is paying us a fee for Tom Davies as he is plagued by injury issues. If Adam Davies leaves, who's the backup keeper? Shackleton was a desperation signing when we had no players, McCallum too (albeit to a lesser extent).

Every player in our squad last season was undermined by the sale of the two best players before the season started. What message did that send to the squad? We waved the white flag, nothing to do with Wilder. For what it's worth, McAtee made 27 appearances for Manchester City last season and has been linked with, amongst others, Bayer Leverkusen and Manchester United. Hardly "destroyed".

I presume you're referring to Oli McBurnie. Yes, he underperformed for us but he was leagues ahead of Oli The Burke and Callum Robinson, both of whom I'd put higher on a list of worst ever signings.

This is pleasant.

You're making me doubt that wanting a change is a sane choice.
Great read

Let me throw this into the mix, how's about Wilder (if we keep him) getting a new number two?, Knill is inconspicuous on match days, never see him on the touchline having a word in Wilders ear, he's to passive and our tactics and fitness levels are not good, and I'm thinking is it jobs for the boys?, I know friendships are hard to break up, but we've got to do what's good for Sheffield United......and next season is a very important one,
Im not sure if there have been replies to this, as playing catch up.

I guess its hard to judge Knill on matchdays, because its hard to know what Wilder asks of him.

In CWs previous stint, Knilly and Matt Prestidge were very prominent in the technical area, but CW has looked a very loan figure this time IMO.

I dont know if thats his choice though.

Tom Davies
Davies (gk)
RND
Robbo
Grbic
Brewster all should go. Hamer will be sold for good money or at least should be I don't see anybody coming in for Anel average CB for me I don't get people saying he's worth 15-20m not a chance is he, Souttar made him look good. Obviously the loans all go back.

Whoever gave Robinson an ‘option’ deal (which he can instigate) needs their head looking at. I’d release:

Robbo (if I could, but see above)
Brewster (6 months being fit doesn’t make up for 3 years of sat in the treatment room)
RND (fitness)
Shackleton (fitness)
Although I like him, Tom Davies should be let go (if he is out of contract). Again, based on fitness record.

if robinson stays he can only be back up can see us being in for souttar holding and possibly chris mepham also think jimmy dunne is nailed on to come in for right back with seriki with hamer and souza both likely to be sold will be interesting to see the midfielders we bring in
Robinson has meant to have been a back up since he was signed. Get him cleared off asap IMO. Even as a back up, he’s shite.

Could he instigate it without making 25 starts?

If he needed to play 25 games to get a renewal then no. Still doesn’t make it any less stupid to give a clogger like him that sort of option.

Clubs give options like this all the time, however they generally aren’t stupid enough to let the player make the required appearances to activate the clause.

Robinson had only made 12 appearances when Souttar got injured, I’m sure we could’ve easily limited his appearances so he didn’t get an extra year.

Wednesday probably be in the Premier League now as well

Unless they want them to stay, which Wilder obviously does in this instance.

SUFC Prices to keep or be able to replace
Buy low sell high is the mantra
Hamer 30M - will be desperate to leave Wilder and for Prem
Anel 25M - probably stays so NEEDS a good new manager
Vini 25M - as above
Cooper (won't need to go ) £25 M
Burrows 25M? - should be happy enough at Champ for now - someone may offer £20million if not for muppet Wilder.
Campbell £20M - they won't pay that but he will want a chance at Prem. Don't sell for 10 we would be offered knowing Wilder is an imbecile 'dealer'
Cannon - pray for a ludicrous 10 million from Sunderland
OHare - pray for a ludicrous bid (5m +) from as big a clown as Wilder and more 'experts'. I'd release to none league (his level as we saw in his star debut) ) if it was not for the ludicrous praise I hear this muppet getting.
MUST KEEP YOUTH just Seriki Peck Arblaster Brooks now (with Burrows a top 5 in midfield) (plus Marsh, Blacker, One and others I suspect) unlike last year with Bogle Osula Jebbison who wanted nothing to do with Wilder based on experience
I'd keep Robinson re squad player backup but sign a BIG left footer. Never replaced OConnell before and Wilder has failed in 3 seasons now.
Happy with Dunne coming in in Championship (impressed at the Lane in both boxes and won key headers at loftus road as well) but he is NOT a left footed centre back.
ANEL CANNOT PLAY ON THE LEFT OF A TWO OR THREE - not with chuckle brothers tactics anyway ie WILDER OUT
RND is better than most but fit? and Wilder never liked/rated sufc youth so will leave and worse stay or come in.
Always rated Keifer Moore as the player the lazy scumbag McDonkey was supposed to be. But when his (or anyones) game or fitness goes (eg Burrows at Watford) we need someone who can see the pitch events not the imbecile 'Fred Basset' Wilder whose subs are written on a fag packet before the game.
Get BBD 5-6 million they paid. GOOD STRIKER
Get Holding if wages can be reasonable, plus fit enough or per game
Brewster will go if he gets an offer. He knows wilder is an imbecile who plays him out of position all the time. I'm tipping Burnley as the best fit - best chance he has - maybe Sunderland who are very poor in most positions.
We all know who could should go rest of journeymen failures loans (Clarke Choudhury ) plus
Davies (fee?) if have better free options, Shackleton, T Davies (get a fee?), McCallum - great lad NOT good enough if SERIOUS about Prem and Wilder is NOT so a clue there,
As for loans under Wilder
Destroyed young players McAtee and Archer in half a season last season
Gilchrist and Jesus treated like shit on this run in
No one SHOULD lend Wilder a good YOUNG player and we can run out of clubs as there are a few who buy them all
And if you did not know we were doomed under Wilder then McDonkey (sufc WORST signing in history of club) was announced as a free on Saturday morning AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Things can only get better? - DREAM ON CLOWNS
WILDER OUT NOW

I'm loving these transfer values, will you come and value my house please I think it's worth about £115-120k but after reading this I'm thinking maybe £7-7.5million now

to be fair to wilder robinson didnt get a look in when souttar was here and anel on the left side which makes it all the more baffling as to why anel didnt stay on the left when holding came in basically wilder was saying robinson was a better option than holding it isnt even a close contest and it cost us big time at wembley with mayenders equaliser

This big time.

Also, I take issue with people referring to Robbos ‘experience’

Last season was his first playing as a center back in a back 4. He was a left back when we signed him and he’s since been a LCB in a back three and one of very dubious quality at that.

Right from getting caught in man’s land in the 2nd game against QPR, to him returning to the team on New Year’s Day (subsequently costing us the match) against Sunderland and the plethora of fuck ups since then, he’s been what he’s always been:
ABSOLUTE DOG SHITE.

The thought of him starting in our first team at the start of next season makes my skin crawl.

He is an imposter playing in the top half of the championship and the season we got promoted he was been carried by a team of excellent quality where he had very little genuine defending to do. Even then he still made mistakes

Especially when we signed a superior replacement in January and then didn’t bother playing them.

Warnock knew when to move on from the likes of Keith Curle and Robert Page, robbos not fit to lace the boots of either

Robbo taking a lot of hate on here

He is a bit gash, shit mi sen when he gets ball and gets closed down

But, think wilder should explain why he brings in holding, sees JLT be a bomb scare and leaves the seasoned premier league player on the bench

No pro player is going to see a team sheet go up and ask the manager to swap him to the bench cos a lad on loan is better

Even if wilder is blinded by his love in, surely knill or another coach should have talked sense into hom

Under The Cosh episode in a couple of years.

"Did yer ever have words with Wilder?"

"Yes la, I was regularly hammering on the manager's door saying 'Why are you picking me, I'm shit gaffer' "

When you see Robbo’s name just tell your striker to just put him under constant pressure all the time which will result in one go tej following :

1. A mistake
2. Pass back to keeper
3. Lump it up field

Especially when we signed a superior replacement in January and then didn’t bother playing them.
We signed a potential superior replacement
Holding hadn’t played a competitive first team game for 2 years
However the most important position. To fill since Boxing Day with a spend budget we bring in a player whose not played for 2 years on the last day of the window
Very poor

We wasted £11 million on a striker which could have been used for a quality CB

Agreed. Whichever way you cut it, it's poor. If he wasn't fit enough (seemed obvious), then it was a pointless and probably a relatively expensive, loan signing.

What does this tell you then? All the "he picks Robinson because he's his favourite and pashun" is obviously BS given he picked Souttar over him.

Perhaps Holding isn't very good? I know this is impossible for people to consider, but it might be true.
