Means nothing.
yes it does-it means we had a pretty good season.

Bar for VAR we are in the Prem tonight.

Next season we will be chasing play offs again -

Next season Sunderland will be 20th and will be thoroughly depressed at how crap the Prem is.

Wilder is by far the best option for a club like ours,'means nothing' FFS- go and ask Luton if they'd swap.

We never dominated anyone all season. Sure we got 92 points. Any decent manger would have got 90 points with this squad. CWAK just did okay. This lose saved us from an embarrassment next season.
If I was the owner, and probably good reason I'm not, he would be gone with all his staff and start again afresh. Or maybe I'm still fuming after another weak performance when leading.

Were you there today? How many play off finals have you attended? I cannot understand how anyone could go through that again at Wembley and not be angry.

I'd be tempted to edge towards him going at present.

Realistically it's another big rebuild this summer. The new owners will want to make the most of the last year of parachute monies and some decent incoming fees.

Despite an excellent points total, I'd think there would still be some food for thought from the owners.

A team that gets 90+ points shouldn’t need rebuilding, and if we don’t then Wilder should continue. But if we lose key players and (as you say) we need a rebuild, then I’m not convinced Wilder is the manager to do that. And of course, I know fuck all, what’s more important is whether the owners feel confident to invest in a Wilder rebuild.

So you want him to stay but to fundamentally change his character? How likely do you think that is?
Not very. And no, I'd say we played lovely stuff under him before....and I hope he'd have learnt a wee bit of humility this season. Always hopeful.

It was always going to be a flip of a coin.

Angry no, a little disappointed and tired it’s been a long day. But overall we have had a decent season, try to remain grounded when shit happens.

We will have a more enjoyable season than Sunderland next year and I think with 92 points in bank Wilder deserves just a tad more loyalty - boos always seem to be louder.

Owners didn't take over the club to piss about in the Championship. I'd say it's odds on he goes. They'll want a completely new approach. They backed CW Jan and we were worse since. But it's not just signings. There are big question marks in many areas. And the buck stops with Wilder. That's just the way football is. Winner takes all.

Wanted nothing more than to see wilder punching the air today at Wembley, and proving me wrong, unfortunately I think
Hes a busted flush and we cannot sustain his poor signings next season.
His poor signings???

Campbell, burrows, cooper, choudry, souttar have all been pretty successful I’d say to be honest lad

Fair enough. I don't see any positives unless CW goes. He said he was a better manager. He'd learned. But he keeps making the same mistakes over and over. I don't think he has learned.

Nice to see that the "negative" brigade are out in force. Be careful what you wish for, Luton would love to be in our position. Wilder is the best manager we have had in years and he gives a s*it - lets come back in 12 months if you get your wish and see just how it has gone - for me I'd rather have a proven winner who cares for the club - let me think, how about Chris Wilder.

We dominated Bristol City 6-0 over two legs.

But for every Burrows there's a Shackleton, for every Campbell there's a Cannon. For every Cooper there's a Grbic. His best signings are often great and normally cheap. His worst signings are normally dire and expensive flops.
