I have similar feelings. At the start of the season I wasn't especially interested in going back to the Premier league because I don't think any Championship team can truly compete - I was happy to be competitive in the Championship but if we failed at the final hurdle, so be it. Of course now we're in that position I want us to win but if we fail we've had a good crack at it.I'm just going to enjoy the day come what may. I won't be in bits if we lose, as personally I still think it's too early for us. The only positive will be parachute payments after a woeful season. In fact I think I put down this as my opening gambit on here.
Ha. Couldn't resist...Weerz final count before 5pm![]()
After 60 years of support, I've decided not to go. Gave up my season ticket last year after 40 plus years and to be honest I've not missed it as much as I thought. Been a few times including the Bristol City play off game. I've been to all previous Wembley, Cardiff and Old Trafford games. Last big game I missed was the Leicester 5th May 1990 game so maybe I'm the bad luck charm.Got to say I’m amazed at how many die hard Blades aren’t going. All in upper age group sick of shelling out and being disappointed.
I just can’t not go
Watching a YouTube video t'other night and the fella who does the tours was asked if there was any plans to start redeveloping the kop and his answer was "Not in the foreseeable future" ( Make what you will of that)The extension to the back of the kop is planned to be a steeper rake, like what the whole top half should have been if it hadn't have been overseen by the couple of charlatans that were Hinchcliffe and Woolhouse. I think that may be too steep for standing in today's sanitised society, which is why it might be beneficial to put any standing at the front. My guess is, and it's only a guess, is if safe standing comes to the kop, it will be top to bottom in one of the side blocks.
Sunderland fans are saying that the blocks offering the extra 1,000 tickets are 526 and 527 which are officially club Wembley, did we ever get those? I don't know. Sunderland fans are compiling now how they're being sold and are unsure if they'll sell, I think they may. There’s 835 seats in block 526
And there’s 1,118 seats in block 527 but we’ve already sold about a quarter of it., which went on sale Sunday and I saw that sales were going well in there but then block 527 was frozen (greyed out) a few hours later……presumably because Wembley planned to put segregation netting over the rest of block 527
Enabling Sunderland to be given the 835 tickets in block 526 on the half way line upper tier.
So 230+ 19+ 149 + 835 + approx 800 = 2,033 unsold tickets from our allocation
But it looks like we’ve been given an extra allocation 263 seats in block 205 and 263 seats in block 206.
If our initial allocation was 35.5K….looks like we’ve undersold by roughly 1.5K…so looks like we’ve sold about 34K tickets
But the way blocks of previously unavailable sold out seats keep mysteriously appearing….then who knows.

Block 119 has 32 and block 120 has 232 tickets remaining which is over half of what's left so I'd guess that those blocks are where United's comps are located. Of the rest, block 216 accounts for a third and half of that is greyed out which means that block is probably for United's corporate guests.
The top tier is mostly singles with the exception of blocks 519 and 523.
I'd guess that we've sold somewhere in the region of 34.5k. Intial allocation of 35.5k less 1.5 top tier blocks (c1,200), less unsold tickets (507) plus two released Club Wembley blocks (526).
Sunderland probably a little bit ahead of us (36.5k). Not that it matters but I've worked that as their initial allocation (same as ours) plus the top tier blocks we released less the inevitable single seats dotted around (200).

I'm at the Test match on Friday and the Paul Heaton gig on Sunday which is another excuse. Apologies to anyone who thinks I a lightweight Blade but I think I've done my share.
Having said all that, I hope we do it and break the curse. Enjoy the d
Me too I am one of the old un's ,64th season coming up had the lows but just made the highs even better loved it my dream from a 9 year old has been to see the Blades win at Wembley got to be there when it happensGot to say I’m amazed at how many die hard Blades aren’t going. Goes with the shitty road infrastructure around the stadium and the lukewarm cans of lager that the stadium bars serve. Whole thing is a shambles. Can't understand how Block 216 has at least 70 seats available and has not been open/sold since day 1. It has been a total shambles from Wembley.
Anything with 5 in front isn't club wembley club wembley is parts of tier 2 and under the royal box about 4 blocks on tier 1Sunderland fans are saying that the blocks offering the extra 1,000 tickets are 526 and 527 which are officially club Wembley, did we ever get those? I don't know. Sunderland fans are compiling now how they're being sold and are unsure if they'll sell, I think they may.
We have just over 100 seats left as of now apart from some bizarre reason the blocks 120 and 216 are almost totally unsold, how can that happen if they were doing us block by block, there must be 100-200 seats in each but even so it is only 3-500 totally unsold, unless of c course 526/7 were part of our initial allocation.
Stupid the way it's all been done so I don't totally write off United's involvement in itCan't understand how Block 216 has at least 70 seats available and has not been open/sold since day 1. It has been a total shambles from Wembley.
About 34 thousand .tickets have stopped now so I'm sure you won't post againStupid the way it's all been done so I don't totally write off United's involvement in it
But £107 and £84 tickets in their thousands started appearing when our most loyal fans had already got their tickets
What casual fan is going to pay that amount to do something he's not that bothered about doing anyway
Might see you at the Test match on Friday. Minibus going from Notts on Saturday with mne seat left. Just saying …After 60 years of support, I've decided not to go. Have you been mis-sold tickets, had your time wasted by your football club, spent hours waiting for a block to open that you didn't want to sit in anyway?
If the answer is yes, JJ Reclaim is here to get you the recompense you deserve.

Must admit I was the same after all the disappointments but last week I was in London on a bit of business and got off the Tube at Wembley Park. I saw the Arch and Wembley Way. And that was it ! ST holder for years and booked the tickets that evening when I got back. If we are eventually going to break the run I want to be thereGot to say I’m amazed at how many die hard Blades aren’t going. Really? I've paid £158 for 2 nights in a Travelodge in Hounslow on the Piccadilly line. Are you stopping at The Renaissance? (fair play if you are.)Dunno how it's went your end re tickets, been a bit of a calamity from our end, people able to buy tickets without the correct permissions last Wednesday (non season ticket holders ) they've all been cancelled now, after the site was taken down and tickets taken off sale whilst it was rectified.
Always an expensive day out, for me £82 match ticket, £175 train ticket and £220 for one night in a central London hotel.
I'm sure someone will be along in the next half hour telling you exactly how many tickets in each of our allotted sections remain unsoldSo for the benefit of a lazy **** like me, did we sell out?
Nah mate just a premier inn right next to King's Cross, central London Prices.Really? I've paid £158 for 2 nights in a Travelodge in Hounslow on the Piccadilly line. Are you stopping at The Renaissance? (fair play if you are.)
