16 Big game defeats in a row it’s no coincidence

AyeBased on previous managerial selections in similar circumstances I understand exactly where you are coming from …….
2 - 0 Blades Moore and Campbell , and one old gentleman celebrating later with several glasses of Johnny Walker Black Label.![]()
Everything that can happen will possibly happen
Penalty to them in first 5mins
We have player (probs Gus) sent off after VAR review
3-0 down at half time
Last kick winner for them
Etc
We'll lose. We aren't allowed to win play offs. The Football Gods simply won't allow it. It'll probably go to penalties, just so that it can be extra painful. Cannon misses the vital penalty, ensuring his lifetime scapegoat status. Wilder headbutts a celebrating Sunderland player. Record fine for failing to control our players after a post-match brawl.
Am worried about pens in normal tome. Sending off risks are SouzaEverything that can happen will possibly happen

Butnot this time, it’s our turn
Count down to ' a whiff of pork' being voiced .....1-0 Sunderland , Jack robinson first half red after puliing Isidor down as he is clean through
I feel very similar. It's a wholly different squad with little of the fans' playoff baggage. Plenty with big match experience, we have options on the bench and are in good form after the last few games of the season and Wilder seems calm and motivated. No real logical feeling about the result.
Part of me thinks it's our time for few reasons o won't go into, part of me just thinks we don't have these kind of wins. I feel the same about England winning a major trophy.
Don't believe in curses and logic doesn't stack up but.....
The Nerves and scenes after that would be immense0-0 Extra time - 0-0 - We win 1-0 on Penalties after 10 penalties saved with Coops smashing in the winner

I suppose many of us will feel similar until we win one of these.I feel very similar. It's a wholly different squad with little of the fans' playoff baggage. Also, a huge part of me keeps saying after all these failures it's our turn and that it's different this year.
But that is gambler's fallacy, so I'm trying but currently failing to forget the past and just take the game as it comes and try and enjoy it. Petrified about conceding an early goal though.
Just been watching Clive Mendonca on scoring a hattrick against Sunderland in 1998 final as a fan of Black Cats himself.Nil nil in 90 minutes, fancy us in extra time.
