Will we sell out?

You can easily count the remaining seats. About 600 left. 300 in the Regular sections and suddenly a block in the £107 sections of about 290.
They should have cancelled purchases in the Basket after 2 hours if not paid for.

Now the tickets are getting emailed out (with no changes thereafter), this should settle down the randomness of areas changing due to swapping seats. This will spoil the whole buildup from 5PM tomorrow, get it sorted Wilder.

The Games gone!

Rounded guess by 3pm tomorrow.

Blades - 34k
Mackems - 36.5k

(35.5k allocation each originally)

Any prizes for the correct guess?

That’s what the official numbers will be

but I suspect there’ll be loads of Sunderland fans buying from touts and paying for corporate in the neutral areas.

Is that all?

That’s the only block we didn’t sell and it has 835 seats in it.

We were also only given 25% of block 525 which holds 1,118, so that’s where the segregation netting will be meaning we didn’t sell about 800 seats in that block either.

But I think we were given an extra 500 seats in Club Wembley which weren’t part of our initial allocation.

And then there’s bits of single seats scattered around all over the upper tier.

Can opposite fans be in club Wembley seats on your side of the ground then? Wembley just want to sell em if there's no chance of crowd trouble.

Lad I know (Blade) got his hands on a couple of complimentary tickets in the corporate, albeit no free food and booze.

Rules were to arrive no later than 12pm apparently so they decide to swap the tickets for ones in the stand as they couldn’t be arsed turning up that early and ended up with two in the Sunderland end 🤣

I remember one of either Burnley or Huddersfield we sat near the halfway line in Club Wembley and there was a wooden divider in the concourse to split the fans. If I wasn’t too busy eating prawn sarnies I’d have steamed them and smashed lot up.

I imagine it causing some bollox with their sarnies and champers 🤣🤣

You can only hold them for 60 mins

This ticketing system is utter chaos. It wouldn't surprise me if there were loads of empty seats in United and Sunderland on Saturday. Isn't technology fantastic
Of course there will be empty seats. Wembley hold 90,000, between us and Sunderland we've got about 71,000
Almost the entire middle sections all the way around our side of the stadium will be empty

Nope. Try again. They will be the freebies

Sold more than Sunderland apparently
Where do you get this from?
We have probably a thousand tickets available, every single section which we have been allocated has empty seats in it. that actually takes some doing.

And considering the only people left who have not bought tickets yet are the most casual fans of all they are likely to remain unsold because most of them are single seats.

A loyal committed fan will buy a single seat and meet his mates before and after, but the most casual of "fans" won't

Perhaps next time we should prevent season ticket holders and loyalty points holders from buying first, let the miniscule amount of floating fans we have get theirs, there obviously isn't enough of them to prevent our loyal fans from getting a ticket, but at least these people would be able to sit together. Then our more loyal and committed fans would buy the rest and not be too worried about sitting on their own for an hour and a half
