I thought he did very well tonight. He kept it simple, didn't make the mistakes expected of an inexperienced defender and generally dealt with some very strong, well-built forwards quite easily. He put some good blocks and tackles in too.
An outsider could have been forgiven for thinking he was a regular starter, he fit in so well.
Additionally, big praises to Howard once again, Coady, who I have slagged previously and looks worlds apart from when he first arrived, Doyle, who was class, and that boy Chris Porter, who scores when he wants.
