Maguire has a slight knee problem but not a problem for the long term, is still a doubt for Tuesday however but should play next Sunday. Brayford done his calf and Murphy done his groin and both will have scans before Tuesday but I doubt either will be fit. Brayford is the most concerning for Clough and could possibly be out for weeks.
 
We need all three for the Charlton game.

Perhaps Mr Miyagi can get his magic healing hands and that cup thing going?

I think Murphy's pace and dribbling ability is vital to the way we play at the moment. What do we do if he can't play?

Before going to Walsall he was adamant he was coming back to play for us again. That was from the horses mouth prior to the Notts County (a) game.
 
im concerned about our thin squad, I think we should bring back brandy depending on how bad Murphys injury is. Presumably Hill will fill in for Brayford when McGuire is fit? I've wondered about Deigo, if we are safe in the league surely he needs to get a game. Theres always Miller to play on the wing aswell.
 



Diego gone to Italy to play for under 19, it's on his twitter Page, but doesn't say when the match is
 
Also noticed that brayford was struggling before start of match, he was on his own with 1 of coaches and

Is that the same injury that kept him out on Tuesday? Clough said that he'd rushed him back once at Derby and that sidelined him for several weeks and he didn't want to do that again.

At least if it's a different injury, there's nothing they could do about it, not that it's much of a consolation.

We've got a few options here if the injuries have a recovery time of weeks rather than days. Davies can play anywhere on the left or right, and would probably come in for Brayford. Baxter's more than capable of filling in on the left, and has been switched with Murphy there recently anyway. I suspect that would be Clough's first move rather than recalling Brandy.

If fairness the impression I got was that Harry would definitely play on Sunday.Remember he is one booking away from a two game suspension so he might miss Tuesday's game anyway even if he is fit to play/. A two week rest for Harry will probably do him the world of good .

Murphy 'felt his groin tighten' according to NC so it might not be a tear so hopefully he will have a chance for Sunday but I'll be surprised if Brayford is fit based on NC's comments.

Davies played well at right back by all accounts, Kennedy could play at right back I suppose on Tuesday but I hope McGinn recovers from his back injury as it means we could rest Flynn and/or Scougall.

I was expecting a few changes to the team on Tuesday anyway before yesterday so any player with a hint of an injury will be left out I reckon. NC may also decide to rest Baxter as he doesn't seem to have been as effective in recent games.

If Brayford and Murphy are out on Sunday, NC could go for 3 at the back (Hill,Harry,Collins) with Harris and Flynn as wing backs

Because they probably thought he was fine.

Interestingly Keith Edwards said before the injury that MK dons were attacking Brayford at every opportunity, Edwards' comments were that he was coping well and he didn't understand why they would attack him.... A few minutes later he was gone.

MK Dons obviously saw the same as you chesblade and thought they'd see if they could weaken him
 
I just hope we only use Hill as cover for Maguire or part of a 3 man centre back partnership ,not as a replacement for Brayford ,he is not a full back.
Whats happened to McMahon btw ,not even in the squad for Blackpools weekly hammering yesterday.
 
I think Diego is playing for Italy u19 this week so wont be involved in the Posh match on Tuesday
Likely to be in the FA Cup squad as Paynter and Kennedy are cup tied

I didn't think Kennedy was cup tied

It'd be great to see Diego back on the bench on Sunday after a confidence booster for Italy U19's this week
