how come so many season ticket holders not taken up seats ?

The colour scheme above seems to have gone awry - on my laptop anyway. The actual position is that there is good availability on the kop but only limited availability in the South Stand.

I'm confused. The colours in the key don't correspond to the colours of the sections. What do yellow and blue mean?

See my earlier message...but to answer your question in relation to the plan of the ground...dark blue=limited; light blue=very good; yellow= good

Was waiting until noon today so the seats I wanted (same as against Forest) were available for Ken Jnr and I, which they were :)

Suspect many season ticket holders on the kop will elect to go on the South Stand, just as a change, given the pricing structure.

I reckon it will fill up this week once people have their monthly pay packet in.

There'll be extra seats now available when they release for general sale the unclaimed season ticket seats - once the Saturday 12 noon deadline passes. Same happened with the Forest tickets and they ended up selling in the week before the game

Poster on Mad says 21,000 sold up to close of play yesterday (including Charlton) so should end up somewhere in the region of the Forest crowd.

Might be the most non event quarter final on record

Who didn't want to play the filth?

Got 3 in someones season ticket seats in south stand today.

It's a like a 1st class day out for the kopites on the Southstand. Hardly anyone we sit near on league games go to the cup games, unless they move somewhere else for a change

What like the one watched by less than 24k in 1993? I was at that and it certainly wasn't a non-event.

Let pigs obsess over crowds, we'll just concentrate on the football, it'll be similar to the Forest crowd by the looks of it, which was an excellent atmosphere.

Just odd seats in south stand now. Around 50 seats in each of the 9 blocks. Are G and H not available for this game?

You can say what you want it would have been a great day for the city and the way we are playing at the moment I for one think we would have been victorious.

can't agree. Derby games are horrible games and you only breathe a sigh of relief if we win. Not into this 'great day for the city' stuff as if we lose it is one of the worse feelings in the world for a Blade.

Never want the pigs to win so I was cheering Charlton on loudly on Monday night

We got a good crowd v Forest and will get a good crowd v Charlton....there's still over a week to go and there were thousands of late sales v Forest.

As for the pigs........them fxcking it up big style, when their fans were talking as if they were already at Wembley, was priceless. Like many Blades I loved seeing them go out - they won't get any more much needed revenue and their fans were- and still are - gutted

if only 6000 turn up and we win 1-0 wouldnt bother me at all , but they should make wembley tickets available on production of a charlton ticket stub till the thursday before the semi

its a shame but Charlton are coming isnt full of magic is it

Looking at the stadium plan, I'd say we've sold more than we had against Forest at the same point. South Stand is almost full, but H block is blocked out. Have we been made to close it as punishment for Forest?

UTB

sounding like a pig, how the fuck can the quarter final be judged as an event on the SIZE OF THE FUCKING CROWD

We already have a Charlton thread so merge

We need a merge thread button since Bladesmad came over

I was ready at noon to nick 21 tickets in the South Stand, but at 12:05 I panicked and bought the best I could find on the Kop. There was probably a slight delay in releasing the seats reserved for season ticket holders.

What I'm saying is that the majority of blades wanted the tie against the filth not on this blog apparently.
As for sounding like a pig you can fuck yourselve.
