Just been checking flights ect to London Heathrow and the price is 💩
Good God there outrageous price's, if you can get to Dublin there's a flight at 8-20 returning at 10pm for 166 euro if that's any help, check the ryanair site.
Myself and my daughter are flying over from Cork return on the day for 190 euro for the 2 of us, have to confess I booked it last week, however the price above from Dublin is there now

I'm not flying, but I checked the BA website and my staff travel page and it's showing those prices I posted above.
Cheers m8, at least these prices are better 👍
Well go for at 8amish going & 1900ish coming back means we won't be rushing about.

1900 coming back the same day or the next day?

Going for easyjet probably £167 from City Airport.

No Sat morning flights from IoM, so having to do Friday to Sunday. Flights back are a rip off too as it's the start of TT. :(

At those prices, could you not consider a boat? There's an overnight one that'll get you into Liverpool early enough to get to London by noon. Never used it myself, but if flights are taking the piss, it might work out better? seat61 would be my go to place to research

Probably similar suggestion I gave to Bangor - you not want to consider the fast ferry that leaves early morning to Liverpool? Should get you to London before 3, that'd be a bit tight for me but may as well have a look

Might have a look at Dublin, it's only just over a hr away driving.
