Then they should wait until all can buy tickets, the problem is with our system a week or so passes before that is possible causing a last minute scramble for seats together. I get people want to sit with family and not be spread over 3 stands like we were at the Arsenal semi at Old Trafford United just make it difficult. I sat on my own at the Newcastle semi, at the Millenium stadium two of us were in the top tier the other two were lower down so I know what you mean.

I'm sorry but that's utter speculative nonsense and does a disservice to the new owners. The owners will be fully aware of what they've bought into. They will no doubt have scoured our average attendances over the years and seen how consistently high they are. Still one of the best in the Championship. They will also have noted our absolute soul destroying experiences of numerous play off failures and the subsequent lack of enthusiasm for them which has seen us not turn out in numbers.

What we have is a very loyal 22k-30k regulars. I've never thought the ceiling of our support is much higher than 35k even if we were to challenge for the PL title. Unless the match day experience is improved which I think could see more future fans coming into the club. I'd love to see the match day experience improved as I think the atmosphere is really poor compared to years gone by.
 
We are not at Wembley yet, so I would not discuss getting a ticket yet.
Chris Wilder has requested that Bramall Lane be sold out and rocking for the home second leg game against Bristol City.
Looking at the ticketing website, thousands of tickets are unsold. a day before the game. It
will not look good when Chris Wilder looks around the ground to see plenty of empty seats.
Why is there not enough time/too expensive/crap ticket office/Stupid points system/cant be arsed.
I get all that. I agree that the ticketing system is rubbish. I have got my usual ticket at the back of the Kop,
I know people are struggling with the cost of living, etc. I am a pensioner, so I know things are tight. I have got Sky Sports, but I prefer going to Bramall Lane every home game. been going since 1966 and will go as long as I can. So if you can get down to Bramall Lane and create the atmosphere we are famous for.
Help our players and make it intimidating for the away players and fans.

Also, I’d imagine the ticket website would struggle to cope with everyone trying to buy tickets at the same time, United ain’t Ticketmaster!

The minimum points thing is getting boring now, the loyalty points system has been in place for over 20 years, there is no reason why an adult shouldn’t have at least 500 points over 20 years.

If they can’t be arsed to go to 3 or 4 matches over that length of time then they don’t really have any reason to complain about not getting a ticket.

Frankly I find it amazing that someone who clearly isn’t bothered about United would even care that they didn’t get a ticket!

There is no more than 27000 loyal fans with season tickets and loyalty points and we can take over 40,000 to Wembley

No "loyal" customer will miss out

This city, and especially Uniteds half of the city has probably the highest percentage of computer illiterate, cash only mentality people in the country, probably the world.

The type of people that complained because they had to open a bank account to get their wages paid into

The type of people that moan about places that only take card payments because they apparently can't keep track of what they're spending

If the club wants new fans or older fans to return they have to cater for the typical Sheffielder, so let them queue up with cash and their equally 1990's mates

That's not completely true.
I live and breath United, as some of you on here will know, but because it's Wembley I'll want to take my family with me more than go with my mates, and that means to sit together I'll have to wait until general.

Yeah I might do similar. I was meaning the point made by who I replied to , who was saying if you're desperate to go, you'll find a way regardless.
Lots of wavering, or part time fans won't bother, they'd possibly like to go, but might not drive there , for example.

weve only taken 40k to wembley once against burnley in the 2009 play off final absolutely no chance we sell 40k for this one
 
More important than whether we sell the last few thousand seats will be the atmosphere. Let's give them a proper rousing last game at the lane (this season), do that and technically selling out or not won't matter.

Wembley is a different story. Lots of the fans who would usually be the ones to make numbers up that I talk to have got PTSD, and I think they will sit this one out unfortunately.

You did read my point then. I'm saying not all 23k ST holders go to all the home games. They certainly won't all be going to Wembley. I'm not sure what's so offensive about that.

That’s not you originally claimed. You used the word “most” which suggests the majority.

Obviously not. It’s not offensive and no one has suggested it is.

You’re trying to change the narrative now.
