Funny that, because that's how Porktalk see it.Football isn't it? We look at it and we see a certain red. Dickie had pulled Moore back/down way before he made the "attempt to play the ball" so it's a certain red. However, if roles were reversed, an enormous amount of our fans would be apoplectic with rage that it wasn't a yellow.
Yes mate they are deludedFunny that, because that's how Porktalk see it.
I've had to watch it back 70 times just too make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks.
Dickie is a dirty ba****d makes a habit of itOr nothing to lose. They're very short at the back anyway, so probably prepared to chase a slim/non existent chance. 3 centre backs, two of them now out, with McNally injured and Dickie suspended
I think because they’ve appealed he can play tomorrow night, it was mentioned on Bladespod by Roygbiv.
Not sure but what’s the point in appealing if you can’t play anyway?I thought a ban had to be specifically lifted in order to play?

I listened to that those two tit's are just engagement farmers and have probably had too many jameson and ginger alesBristol fans take
Most are sound and agree it's nailed on and both decisions are correct but there's a small minority absolutely determined that it's wrong and twisting anything they can to argue that. I suppose that's to be expected.
What surprised me was the second tier podcast actually arguing it shouldn't even have been a penalty. Moore falling forward rather than falling backward means he wasn't hauled back apparently and his legs weren't touched that much, ergo, it's not even a pen.

Seems unlikely...I think because they’ve appealed he can play tomorrow night, it was mentioned on Bladespod by Roygbiv.

Just for interest, I’ve looked at what people have posted on different team websites, Stoke, Sunderland as well as PorkTalk and the pattern is similar. Initial reaction, never a red, dubious pen, and stuff about double jeopardy, then gradually it sinks in that the attempt to play the ball was after the grappling and the ref probably got it right.Football isn't it? Don’t they add an additional game if appeal is divisive/frivolent?Or nothing to lose.
It’s a one match ban.Seems unlikely...
Two reasons
1) it might be successful you never know
2) it's a 2 match ban so if they are successful and make it he can play in the final
I just hope that if there is some form of penalty for a spurious appeal they get hit with it. It's the most nailed on red card I think I've seen since Solskjaer(sp?) against Newcastle

Or the managers comments after the game about the referee.Nailed on penalty
Any action taken on the nasty challenge off the ball on Moore at the end ?
You usually get an extra match for second red of the season. It’s a one match ban.
He’s already been sent off once this season so he gets a one match suspension for last Thursday’s offence, and another one match suspension for it being his second red card. It’s a one match ban.
That’s right, they don’t. Yellows received in playoffs also can’t lead to a suspension, just redsI thought all cards from the regular season didn’t count now? Cappy
