Play off final kick off time - 3PM

As that’s from the Sky VIP section of the MySky app, I’ve got doubts as to whether that will turn out to be correct.
Just looked on the sky sports TV listing ... The program starts at 4.30 so it's a 5.30 KO by the looks of things FFS 🤬

The 5.30 start fucks me over, as I'd have to get tye 9.45pm flight out of Heathrow to make it back for work the next day. 3pm would work though.

So kick off for the final is 5.30pm great eh, so effectively there are only two trains to get you back to Sheffield on the same day. Not a seconds thought for the fans from up north and it is looking likely that it will be Sheffield United v Sunderland that make it to Wembley. Go by coach and it is more than likely you will not arrive back in Sheffield until the early hours next day. Phuck Sky and the EFL. Going to be a lot of empty spaces at Wembley, what a joke.
Don't they sometimes put a special train on ?
I'm pretty sure they have in the past.
Seems daft not too guaranteed to fill it if it's priced right.

Please note this is not arrogance I mean this for all teams Sunderland, Coventry and Bristol City.

It's a monumental cock up. I gambled and bought a train ticket after assuming a 3pm KO - on the basis that two northern teams were more than likely to be involved. It's impossible for me to get home if the KO is any later than 4pm.

I might be forced to drive to North London and take underground from there. I DON'T want to do this.

What I will be doing is cancelling my NowTV once the game is over - earlier if I manage to make it to the game.

All this TV coverage has ruined football for the attending fans. It dawned on me on Thursday that you can go to a game any day of the week now.

I don't think Saturday, Tuesday/Wednesday could ever be the norm again.

If the KO time is already known , why hasn't it been announced properly - maybe Sky think they set the time but until it's official I'll not believe anything

Do they generally have an hour pre-match build up these days?

It’s looking likely to be a 5:30, but could also be 5, which is slightly better at least.
Would have thought an hour to be the minimum time they would use up for build-up to the final .

They have done in the past but the problem is engineering works between Hitchin and Bedford has closed the Midland main line so train bus train that way or East coast mainline to KingsX or via Birmingham and Euston. That said a train will only take 500 or so.

They'll be mainly talking Sunderland

Why the hell wouldn't it be at 3pm?! Scottish cup final is not a schedule clash.

5:30pm bad for everyone.
I suppose the only schedule clash is that Sky want to show both.

Until I see it in black and white I'm going to stop nagging about it. If it is 5.30 Sky/Now will be losing my subscription - for the summer at least - but if everyone did that, it would give them pause for thought

So, a 90 + 10 match would end at 7.30pm. Extra time = gone 8pm. Pens is moving towards 8.30pm. Not sure what time the last trains are, but that is madness.

Gerrit fucking announced. Who's in charge of this decision to delay the announcement?

I'm not overly fussed about the 5:30 KO time, though do appreciate it's a shitter for many people. I am glad it's on the Saturday though, and not the Monday.

Sky have a test match and the F1 Monoco qualifying on earlier that's why as it stands it's in the schedule as a early evening game.

On my epg on virgin it's from 4pm til 8.30pm.

The Scottish fa cup is on premier sports nothing to do with Sky

Last 2 years have been 3pm and 445pm

League 1&2 (1pm & 3pm) have kick off times confirmed so why not championship?

That said, if you choose to gamble as you say, then you can’t grumble if it doesn’t work out🤷‍♂️

However, richest game in football should have respect and be 3pm kick off, fuck everything else

I driving down so personally couldn't give a flying fuck what time kick off is. Happy to sign a petition though if it helps others out.
