Most I know in the real world are quite up for it and have their tickets for Monday.

Already got some wheels in motion for Wembley transport as well as it pays to be well prepared.

Some will simply not be able to afford it though. It’s such a big ask of fans from a financial point of view. Play off final is great for South East clubs, just a couple of quid on the train so they can take loads. Pain in the arse for everyone else.

My mate ( piggy neighbour ) were talking last night instead of the usual topics of about her with the big tit's at 23 we had a meaningful conversation about the 4 Play-off contenders

(1) Blades, for some reason the epl and sky sports would be horrified if we win it , we've both noticed the massive love in for leeds and burnley already
(2) Sunderland, good young side another sky support
(3) brizzle, would be seen as the plucky underdogs and as soon as they start shipping goals would be on Live most weeks
(4) "Frank lampards coventry city" my god the media etc couldn't make it more obvious who they want to see promoted.
Frank is a cunt who's nassarcitic behaviour that coventry but mostly him deserves promotion

I have a mate big coventry city fan ( who actually played for them until injury stopped him) who thinks lampard is just living on all the good work Robins and his team did , if they don’t get promoted then approx 4/5 players will be sold to balance the books.

No direct trains , so Iooking at National Express. A Travelodge nearish to London (about £150 for 2 nights) and get tube to Wembley. I am never going on the coach to Wembley ever again, after the last cup semi. Took ages to get out of the car park.

Probably said this before on here but IMHO staying in Watford is the best way to do Wembley. Hotels are really reasonable and it's only 30 minutes on the overground to Wembley Central from Watford Junction then beers and a short walk to Wembley. Can even drink around Watford and then get the train down a bit nearer to kick off if you don't want to be queuing for a ridiculous amount of time anywhere near Wembley.

I have a long standing social commitment for Monday night and so can’t go down. Absolutely gutted……

Sunderland are 4rth favourites to win the play offs - out of 4 clubs.

As a Sunderland fan of over 50 years I dont think I've ever seen that but it shows you how poor we have been playing. We have zero chance of getting to Wembley unless we play better than we have been. Play again as we have been over the last 3 or 4 months and we are out.

I have no idea whether we can raise our game having got into such a rut. We are about to find out.

I would fully expect Sheffield United to beat Bristol City BTW over 2 legs and get to Wembley.

Honestly mate I hope you put them to the sword ( and I'm the grandson of a geordie 😁 )
Then loose your form again for the final (presuming we get past brizzle)

Think this is the beginning of the end for the club unless chris and the lads are mentally resilient enough to do it without the supporters behind them

Once the new investors realise they have been sold. A dud of a club that can't even sell out a play off they will be looking for a way out and we will start to see downsizing and cost cutting

So well done everyone your apathy is killing your club.
Fanny.

a bloke at our work is a season ticket holder and wanted to buy his 2 mates who have been occasionally down the years tickets and as they had no membership this season couldn't do it and can't renew membership till next year. So that's 2 potential attendees turned away, is our club literally brain dead?
There is no need to be a member: that was only the case from 9.00am-1.00pm on Tuesday. Since then tickets have been on general sale to anyone with 160 points (which they’ll easily have if they’ve even been occasionally).

The ticketing really is baffling

There are multiple ways that you could make sure you arent selling tickets to bristol fans wanting to go in the home end without cutting off day trippers wanting to just come for this one game

A letter/Drivers license with a yorkshire postcode or even just been on the database since before 2 weeks ago

Proper monkey nuts for brains down at the ticket office

To the OP: I can't get to either game against Bristol City as I'm an exile and the travelling just doesn't work. I'll be at Wembley to watch us continue our epic run.

I think when you look at the money Ipswich spent and the wage bill Leicester have, it shows how hard it is to even be competitive now. Obviously we don't know how the new board would approach it but the scars of last season and the previous Prem campaign is naturally going to a while to heal

Leicester remain a financial basket case. I'd guess that part of the reason behind the sale of Cannon to us was to bring in some funds; I have a feeling that they're going to get a sanction from the EFL when they officially drop back in.

Ipswich essentially had to build a Premier League squad on League One foundations. They've done well but they've bought Championship players and ended up back in the Championship.

My other thought on the low attendance is that the majority of our fans have season tickets which cost ~£450. This one off game is £35-40. It's a big outlay.

Done it a few times 👍

I suspect that however they did it, the impact on those is minimal, when you've got season ticket holders not bothering.

In amongst the apathy, to try and add a bit more positivity - a shout out for my lad, a student in Newcastle. 2 hour drive down this morning, 8 hour round trip to Bristol on the coach, getting into Sheff around 2.30am then driving straight back to Newcastle for a 10am presentation Friday morning on his dissertation! 💪⚔️❤️

Staying in Watford is no longer a cheap option. Harry Potter World is just around the corner and it is bank holiday weekend. I found the hotels very expensive. There is a Premier Inn at High Wycombe that is very reasonable and it is easy to get from there to Wembley.

I've got my ticket to the home leg but I don't think I'll go to Wembley should we get there. It's a horrible experience and I don't think seeing us win there would prevent it being a shit day.
It might

I think the main feeling of defeat looms large. A major highlight before was keeping Leeds from going up but now all that's gone only thing we can do is stumble into the premier league party late while everybody turns round and goes "oh so you made it then"
Fuck leeds and fuck burnley

Give over you wet lettuce , if we won at wembley it would be one of the biggest days in the clubs history

Lost 10 play off campaigns and to finally win one under wilder would be the biggets day in my living football esperience as a blayard

Whats wrong with wembley ? Get the train/coach down have a few drinks then come back win or lose

not going to Wembley if we get there, Hoping if I don’t go we might win.

We've got a travelodge London Wembley for £170 for 2 sharing. Decent price that is with free cancellation.

I think if you have had a season ticket and have chosen not to go then you should give your head a wobble unless you have a valid reason

Not going because you cant be bothered is a poor effort
This

FFS - playoffs again, Wembley - again ….what a load of depressing failures we are at the Lane . Much prefer to be like Wendy .

God help us

Jesus mate.
If we win a play off at Wembley, at last, it will be one of the best days ever in Blades history, and you still think that would be a shit day? What would your team have to do to make you happy?
