Idiots.jpg

Yesterday, marked another great day in the trials and tribulations of being a Blades supporter - only spoilt by the morons who almost ruined the day by their pitch invasion(s) !
The club should take the lead by banning these idiots from games for a minimum of three years - if they don't then perhaps the FA may take the issue out of the clubs hands !
Easy to sort - For starters who are the idiots in this picture - not a great advertisement for SUFC
Name & Shame - these morons must be shown the door !

I think the one needing naming and shaming is the chubby guy on the right. Did he wear that jumper for a bet or did his gran get it him for Xmas "for when it's cold when you watch Yoo-Nited"?

If the club stamps firmly on this type of behaviour it may

(a). show the FA that the club is taking the matter seriously
and (b). prevent others doing the same at the end of the quarters in particular if we play the Wendies.

If the club 'fudges and nudges' on this then it's open season for that next match.

Shouldn't have done it. It was wrong but for fuck's sake move on. We have enough to deal with, with the biased FA without '5th Columnists' within our own ranks stirring the pot and keeping it simmering. Let it go. Yes, it was wrong but no one got hurt or assaulted, unlike when the pigs invaded their pitch against Palace and one or two of the Palace players got punched. They got nothing other than a slap on the wrist for an incident that was far worse than the one we saw on Sunday.

That's very true. It was very wrong, but I agree, we don't need quislings and the like getting het up about what is in the end a relatively minor transgression. Simply step up the stewarding levels for the Quarter Final against Charlton.

Surely it should be easy enough to catch around half? There were cameras filming the pitch. They should be fined and banned.

really dont see the point, they will be caught and dealt with, probably get banned from BDTBL what a waste of money these muppets have/will toss away

We can always say 'lets move on' - you may be happy that these idiots are been shown on national tv as 'Blades Fans' - they are not typical of Blades Fans and I for one do not wish to be associated with them !
Running on the pitch is one thing - running up to nigh 5000 away fans goading them is totally out of order!
They were an embarrassment !

Yes, I can see pig fans loving all this. FFS, it was hardly a riot. It will never stop - we can't have a return to perimeter fences, fans get excitable & pissed (at half two, I saw numerous Blades swigging from Special Brew cans & vodka bottles on Shoreham Street) and far from hooliganism 'being eradicated', it's just been swept under the carpet.

Anyway, this cunt is a Forest fan:

Not according to this Forest knob head:

Coz most of the violent knob-heads in Sheff, support United

They bully the Wendy's constantly 24/7 and like to Bully fans big clubs like Forest.

Their team is sh_it but they need to good at summat, so throwing bricks through away fans bus windows and offering out Dads with kids is about their level.

I hate to bring up the pigs at any point, but to suggest they received a 'slap on the wrist' for the Palace incident is not true. The FA launched an investigation into the incident which resulted in them being 'satisfied that they had followed the proper procedures'.

Wednesday received no censure or reprimand at all.

Fair do's. Even less then for a much more serious incident.

What we saw inside the ground yesterday - a pitch invasion and posturing between rival fans - was nothing compared to the Wendy fans who ran on the pitch after the Palace game. They were clearly shown on camera punching women, kids & Palace players. Can you imagine the reaction on here if we had done something similar? Public lynchings would have been demanded.

I've no desire to see anyone who ran on the pitch banned. Ideally better stewarding would have stopped it. It happened but it's hardly the crime of the century.

I agree the indiscriminate trouble caused by a minority of both sets of fans outside of the ground was unacceptable.

But isn't it linked? The sad fact is that the actions of the (relatively) few who ran on and went to goad Forest fans and players rather than simply celebrate, together with the throwing of a smoke bomb into their fans is likely to have caused some of the aggressive behaviour from Forest fans immediately after the game. I know the knuckledraggers on both sides don't need much of an excuse but the action s of those idiots didn't exactly calm things down.

I agree with Deano. No one got hurt by the pitch invasions and for the most part, was done in celebration. Is there any difference goading someone from the stands as there is on the pitch? Because the former happens all the time and no one is calling for these instances to result in bans or fines. Looking at the pic of them on the pitch, they're hardly the archetypal nut job.

people are saying it doesn't matter but that nice chap in the green coat was later involved in an altercation on a train when a fellow. blades was attacked (a 16 yr old at that)

One wonders if a Florist fan would have ran on the pitch just as Porter took the penalty and put him off so he missed and the ref saw nowt so did not order a retake if you would be so forgiving? after all, it would hardly be crime of the century.
(polite reply requested).

Sorry, I cant think of a polite reply because that is just bonkers and bears no resemblance to what actually happened.

Let's just agree to differ on the pitch invasion issue Boo

I'm not naming and shaming nobody, goes against the grain, but i don't have a clue who they are anyway. Unlikely to be anybody i associate with. Is it just me or do the guy in the green jacket and the kid in the hilariously shit jumper look like brothers?

What is it with some on here? Into the Quarter finals of the cup and a few young'uns get a bit overexcited and we want them banned for three years? I remember being on the pitch against Leicester and various other games and loving it. Surely the passion should be what we want.....if you don't why go?

The vast majority of us, including a lot of impressionable youngsters, would have liked to salute the heroes before they went down the tunnel. The players would certainly have preferred that. Those who went on the pitch were selfish morons who couldn't give a toss about the rest of us.

Imbecilic twats.

Blades wanting fellow Blades named and shamed for going on pitch ? That's shameful.

Why?
Its against the law to go on the pitch, like Pinchy said by going on the pitch stopped the rest of us being able to greet the team before they went down the tunnel.
