It's the realistic part that has me worried.

He wouldn't cost all that much if promoted, so does it signal smaller budgets than we are expecting?

To take us to the next level, the new owners need to spend a bit in premier league (if we get promoted), to have a half decent chance of staying up and it's no where near guaranteed.

You're looking at £15-20 million. I guess if Hamer leaves then it's a possibility, but otherwise we have Hamer and O'Hare who are similar players.

I do think there's a question mark over Hamer and his fitness. Maybe Sara would be the better option of the two, but Sara has hardly had a great season.
