By Wanting Leeds to win, you want a result that significantly reduces the probability of us getting 1st. So it means there's one spot to fight for.

A draw is the best outcome on paper, which is usually best in reality. Our net probability of finishing in 1st or 2nd would go up with a draw. I don't think it would with a Leeds win, or if it did, it'd go up less

Any result that reduces the amount of points we need for automatic promotion increases our chances of going up … so Leeds win does that places are irrelevant it’s points that count

I’m with BB on this. It’s impossible to know what helps us most and there are too many games left for it to be truly decisive. And it doesn’t really matter what we ‘want’ to happen, it’s what is actually most likely to happen and that’s a Leeds win. Decent night for us really as at least one of our rivals for autos is going to drop points.

Sunderland's defence is prone to dropping a bollock, which is why we haven't been in the top 2 or 3 for weeks and why we end up drawing with the likes of Watford and Plymouth at home.

That was a great first half from Sunderland but its only half time. However we have to win, as I said on here previously or the automatics are gone.

Lovely goal mind. Bit of a throw back - typical old centre forward style goal.

Just checked and Sunderland paid 5 million for Isidor in January after he initially joined on loan.
Not to knock Cannon, but a Isidor type striker would more suit our style than Cannon.

He has been a great signing, scored 11 or 12 for us now.

him and Le Fee were at the France U20's together so they both know each other well and Le Fee was previously with Le Bris at IIRC Rennes.
