But we are.....Fuck knows how we are there
I reckon it was Peck that made them play better somehow. But what do we know, compared to you?Worked well. They launched it into box we didn’t win anything and kept them out of it. Harder to build play with how Luton played.
Second half those 2 were good again.
It seems like you don’t really understand football on a deeper level.
They made 7 changes from their last game. No idea if the system changed too but listening to the interview post match with Rob Holding it seems their changes were a surprise to us ( 7 is a lot!) reacted, changed set up won the game.Well done after another brain fart from Wilder. Changed it immediately and straight away looked a better side. Good use of subs again. 3 points and top of the pile. A Wednesday bollocks up and a great weekend.
just why? What is he thinking playing these 2 again after the disgrace vs Pompey. Ridiculous.
It’s a results game pal so it is what it isBut we are.....
Yeah manager changes the formation. Was massively unpopular on here when he did it. Was vilified.I reckon it was Peck that made them play better somehow. But what do we know, compared to you?
Because we won more matches and got more points than anyone else, pretty simple really.Fuck knows how we are there
Definitely not midfield, there was absolutely no midfield before Peck came on!MF is that short for midfield or mother f
...?
So he didn't pick the right team in the first place then? Is that what you're saying? The same as the majority of people were.Yeah manager changes the formation. Was massively unpopular on here when he did it. Was vilified.
Luckily he knows what he’s doing and was bang correct.
Another bad day for you Slim
As I said before it’s a results game but the amount of times I’ve been entertained I could count on my handBecause we won more matches and got more points than anyone else, pretty simple really.
Six?As I said before it’s a results game but the amount of times I’ve been entertained I could count on my hand
FourSix?
I agree, we haven’t played free flowing entertaining football for the vast majority of the season. But if it results in us achieving promotion I really couldn’t give a shit to be honest. As I said before it’s a results game but the amount of times I’ve been entertained I could count on my hand
Just got that clever but I’m a 100% SheffielderSix?
Agree with most of this. The one area we differ is I think the loan for Hamza was - and is - the right thing to do. We need cover, competition, and a rotation option for Vini. Hamza is great for this. I'm just not sure we need them both on the park at the same time. Maybe useful to see games out, but that's all.I was intrigued to see if it could work.
In theory, I liked the idea of those two completely dominating the base of midfield and allowing our front guys the platform to attack.
The issue is, Choudhury sits so deep that he becomes a third centre back and our lads use him as an easy "backwards and square" option.
Souza is miles away from him, so the pair rarely pass to each other and the ball just gets stuck in our own half.
The team needs either Tom Davies or Sydie Peck to play. In hindsight, we should have gone for someone like Tyler Morton.
A more direct replacement for what we lost in Arblaster.
Wilder got this one wrong and he needs to stop persevering with it before it costs us.
Portsmouth, and now Luton (relegation threatened sides), have battered us in open play with this setup and only poor finishing has given us a sniff.
Yep. I've been disappointed with how Chowdhury has played so far, first time I saw him he was playing way, way too deep, almost like a third centre back at times, seems a shadow of how he was when I watched him play regular for Leicester, and I don't think that him and Souza is the greatest combination, but to deny we didn't need CM reinforcements is insane, today I don't think he looked great again, but did have a couple of spots where he regained possession at key moments, so there is that. Give it timeAgree with most of this. The one area we differ is I think the loan for Hamza was - and is - the right thing to do. We need cover, competition, and a rotation option for Vini. I think Choudury dropping deep between the centre halves may be kind of a plan B. If the opposition presses us and have a numerical advantage in the middle of the pitch it's difficult to a) get our midfielders on the ball and b) for them to turn and find a forward pass. So to shake up that pattern, Choudury drops deep to allow the centre halves to get wider and the full backs to push forward, and give different angles as we build attacks.I was intrigued to see if it could work.

This is a forum where people voice their opinions, if you don’t like it, block me or don’t come on here? Not took you long to start fucking moaning again has it. Grow up and fuck off
Ah,a Wilder cannot do anything wrong supporter. Obviously with you not being there, you did not see the first half. They changed from a 5 to a 3 after a horrible first half,he gets it wrong sometimes, thankfully they got it right in the second half. They made 7 changes from their last game. No idea if the system changed too but listening to the interview post match with Rob Holding it seems their changes were a surprise to us ( 7 is a lot!) reacted, changed set up won the game.
Brain fart. Fucking hell.
It’s not a moan. It’s a quite legitimate comment upon a manager’s selections and tactics. If we go on a losing run due to his arrogance and stupidity then I hope you’re still clapping like an excited seal being fed fish. Grow up.Moan moan moan fucking moan, what is wrong with some of you, oh wait a minute we've won again.
Edit, 3 to a 5 ,der !Ah,a Wilder cannot do anything wrong supporter. Obviously with you not being there, you did not see the first half. They changed from a 5 to a 3 after a horrible first half,he gets it wrong sometimes, thankfully they got it right in the second half.
We are top of the league right now. I know we changed I was asking if They changed from their last game not just players I got to be honest I have only seen Luton play against us so can only go on Rob Holding saying their line up or formation wasn't what they expected. Wilder changed at half time and we were on top and won.Ah,a Wilder cannot do anything wrong supporter. Obviously with you not being there, you did not see the first half. Possibly by winning more games than anyone else?Fuck knows how we are there
Wrong again. Wilder said in his interview Peck wasn’t able to play 90 as was fatigued. So he didn't pick the right team in the first place then? Is that what you're saying? The same as the majority of people were.

Wilder selects + sets up based on fear of the opposition rather than based on how the top side can dominate the bottom side. Some of CWs selections are ridiculous
We were anything but solid in the first half - bottom team Luton had 9 chances against our zeroI think it can work with O'Hare Hamer and BBD/jesrun behind Campbell tbh
Solid base for creative and busy forwards isn't something I am against
