Will he be fit for the start of next season do we reckon? Or maybe even a return for the play-offs?

Pretty sure Jimmy Ramble said he was expected to be out for the season but is progressing better than expected and maybe back sooner

Yes, also what I've heard. Mentioned it in the shoutbox recently. Doesn't make much sense to me though, but the club source is in the medical dept, so literally the only ones who actually know. I've not heard of an ACL recovery that fast before. Can't see us taking any risks with him

Heard that Arblaster said on Saturday that "he will be back on the grass in March" looking at the video I think that looks probable.

That bit when CW is asking about the night out he'd not been invited to, had me squirming like a student that hasn't done their homework. So intimidating. Fair play to Brewster for taking on the fight.

FWIW, I love these - That insight into what the players are like isn't really something we get very often.

Is this his second major injury. Wasn't he out for a year when he was 17 or 18?

He asked the trainer about one of the lads in the academy and their progress. Any idea who he was referring to?

The reply was "his was more complicated than yours"

I watched it and could only see a joke, nothing to see here

Not saying there was beef, just a bit of hierarchy tension - Blaster said after CW left the room 'I'm sweating...' as it was obviously commented on by those present.

I've come away from watching that feeling even more confident that we'll finish top two. Says a lot about the togetherness of the group and the background staff.

He’ll probably be back to score winning pen in play off final.

Anyone know when Sachdev road to recovery airs?

Making good progress ! May get some game time before the seasons over! That would be good as long as he doesn't come back too quickly and maybe the 1st team is just out of reach.
Really hope he doesn't come back too soon, its one thing to get back on the grass, another too come back early. It rarely works well. Hope we see him back at the start of next season though after a decent preseason with the squad

Good that he's progressing well

With these things his entry back into competitive football - and the time it takes to get back to where he was previously - is as much a mental as well as a physical thing. It would be fantastic (ok I know, wishful thinking!) if we are already promoted for the Blackburn game and they are already in play offs, so it's a dead rubber. Blaster has the last 10 mins on the pitch! That would be a tremendous psychological boost for him and no doubt send him into pre-season training on a huge high.

Rhodri returned came on as a late substitute for Man City last too.
Didn't he have the same ACL injury that Ollie had, not sure if the timelines are the same tho.
I think Rodri did his earlier in the season but I’m not 100% sure.

Great to see Oli back, I bet he wishes we had another month before Wembley so he could throw his name into the mix.

Rodri tore his at the end of September. Blaster’s was early November so they’re on very similar timelines. Bodes well for Arblaster being back for preseason.
Also ties in with what my physio has told me: 9-12 months from operation to fully fit and capable of playing competitively again. Rodri is just shy of 9 months. Blaster is on just over 6. I'm on 1.5 😢
