Do people understand the rumour section?

All advertisments are hidden for logged in members, why not log in/register?

^^^^Genuine question.^^^^

I'm pretty sure 90% of the threads in here aren't rumours. They're of players that are being released, transfer listed, getting married to somebody from Sheffield or the like.

Just because they have no club doesn't mean we're in for them.

Unless you are a scout of Sheffield United and are trying to get a secret message to Nigel Clough without the rest of the football clubs finding out (a very silly way i might add), please don't put it.

I signed Adnan Januzaj on Fifa, he only wanted £5k wages? Maybe we should go for him?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?:mad:

Rant over. Where's the twat thread? :D

Can we not just have a separate section called "suggestions" so people don't have to waste time opening threads about players we're only linked with in the twitching, fevered mind of an FM14 fan who is losing their grasp of reality?

So it's alright to post about whatever we like and post it wherever we like as long as we say it's mislabelled in the post? What kind of spaghetti filing system is that? You don't mind reading a title suggesting that we may be signing some up-and-coming starlet, only to find when you open the thread that we're not at all and it's just wishful thinking? Because I and some others do.

To be honest TarquinDelouche some of the drivel that gets posted by mattbianco1 is far worse than some of the suggested players threads posted in the rumours section... I don't have a problem with them, but if its agreed that suggestions don't get posted in the rumours section then I'm not about to lose sleep about it.

I get more annoyed on a Sunday morning when I wake to read multiple threads on the same subject... Ten threads to state how crap/ good we were when one would suffice. 50 threads about how Doyle, Harry, long, porter, Baxter or Flynn should never wear the shirt again etc etc.

Perhaps people should read the thread titles before posting a new thread first...

The most ironic thing about this thread is that it's not a rumour, yet it's in the rumours section instead of the suggestions section....genius at work....

The self immolation section. A place where people who like to indulge their negativity on an endless loop can make the ultimate protest. Might need to be a live feed as there won't be much chance for participants to post video after the flame catches.
 



Could we separate 'new player' suggestions into "Returning Heroes" and "Other"? It would have the great benefit of saving me a lot of reading time. On the other hand, the latter category might go unused.

Could I have a for instance? A forum is all about opinions. "Drivel" to you is most certainly not drivel to everybody. Are you happy when you open a thread titled [First Name Surname] only to find that someone signed him on FIFA and thought it would be good if we signed him? If you read the rules it states include your source. If you are making it up - you have no source so it shouldn't be posted.

The most ironic thing is the irony that you didn't realise I was being ironic posting it in the rumour section... WHOOSH!

There are lots of instances, but yes it's about opinions... You read my opinion :)

Would it be possible for the club to let us know the details of the youngsters they are signing?
Just so that we can follow their rise to football glory? No way I can get to the games but you guys do a fantastic job in keeping us up top date. Thanks.

Out of interest, where do rumours start? Usually on forums so isn't it actually the best place to have them?
 



Does anyone know where we should discuss players, we personally think United should be signing?
