What would they let their captain go??Good shout, but why would they let him go?
Or still sign Kenny and both of these....but send Gilchrist back as Dunne covers both the positions he does but better and would be our player. We'll be getting Kenny for RB so it would only be one of Dunne or Darling
Don't get Kenny, then I'd gladly take both, stick Dunne RB and play hoof it to Jimmy
Dunne and Darling is also a viable CB partnership
Darling and Anel.... not so much. I'd see Darling as a possible replacement for Anel. His possible departure is another reason we should look to strengthen permanently in the right defensive area. We only have Anel and Seriki contracted and there are doubts about both. This scenario with Dunne and Darling out of contract is something we could look to exploit
They've normally got the ball, it's to be expected really
That's crazyAmusingly, he'd have a 2 match suspension if he joins us if I'm not wrong, because of the tackle on Brewster.
6”2 ain’t heIs he really 5'11?
Yep. It's the type of CB signing that makes the Choudhury signing make sense.Another ball playing CB can benefit us if we plan on sticking Hamza and Vini together. Having someone that can play a forward pass from the back directly into the forwards or into Hamer (better than Robinson can) will get us up the pitch quicker.

2 I think, was banned for the Swans last Saturday wasn’t he?
3 because they lost the appeal? Just a guess.2 I think, was banned for the Swans last Saturday wasn’t he?
Yeah but I think he’s already spent one game of that last Saturday3 because they lost the appeal? Just a guess.
And he won't be signed before Saturday, we move slowlyYeah but I think he’s already spent one game of that last Saturday
Got stuck in during the scrap - GERRIMINListed as 1.8m on a quick Google search, but comfortably over 6' on this pic. Ignore me.View attachment 202990
It stayed at 3 matches. They only add extra games on for "frivolous" appeals. Darling missed their game at the weekend, so he's got 2 more games to serve3 because they lost the appeal? Just a guess.
Goodnight Darling
Isn’t he right footed?I didn't appreciate Darling goes on a free this Summer, so it should be a fairly low risk signing. It definitely strengthens an area that's needed.
I'm not sure he's the right type of CB (per previous post), but it's not a bad option.
At 25, there's a fair bit of upside to the deal.
If he's available for as cheap as I'd imagine, it wouldn't be a bad idea to pick him up regardless of bringing in a more physical CB.
It would surely be good planning to be looking beyond Jack Robinson and Darling could work great in a 3 at LCB. Would provide some versatility.
Looking at him at 0:25 in this video in particular, he certainly appears to beIsn’t he right footed?
