Noticed the lad got in great some positions with ball being cut back from right wing but always let’s it run across him so he can awkwardly strike with left foot…rather than use his right foot.Strange thread
It makes complete sense to me. It’s a reference to the fact that when faced with an open goal which needed an easy right foot tap in, the lad inexplicably decided to hit it with his left, a much more difficult manoeuvre which saw the ball balloon over the bar. That led to a nervy last 15 minutes or so rather than give us a comfortable 2 goal cushion.Strange thread
A lot of professional players are, which still surprises me. If I was them I would practice every day until I had improved that foot enough to be able to, at least, put the ball in a near empty net, from 5 yards. It makes complete sense to me. I hadn’t realised before, but he’s clearly very one footed.
I understood the topic & maybe I’m being the thread police - it’s hump day so I’m being mardy. It makes complete sense to me. We don’t see so many one footed players these days but it used to be a thing…It makes complete sense to me. We could afford all of him. When we make final payment to Norwich we’ll get his right foot.Anyone seen it?
Did they retain a stake in that body part when he went to Norwich? When we make final payment to Coventry we’ll get his right foot.
Good point - they're all FREAKSIt's quite common for left footed players to be crap on their right. Whereas right footed players will use their left a bit more.
How often did Giggs and Roberto Carlos etc. use their right?
There's probably a medical reason for it. Something in the makeup of the brain that made them left footed in the first place
Horrendous finish. I'm not one for kneejerk reactions but he should be fined and publicly flogged for that one.Made a pigs ear of that open goal din he !
at the very leastHorrendous finish. I'm not one for kneejerk reactions but he should be fined and publicly flogged for that one.

Yeah, he uses it for standing on - nothing elseAnyone seen it?
…and should have left it for Brewster who was in a better position and can use either foot.It makes complete sense to me. What an awful thing to say. What good would fining him do?Horrendous finish. I'm not one for kneejerk reactions but he should be fined and publicly flogged for that one.
That’s why Hamer plays there so he can step into it.Noticed the lad got in great some positions with ball being cut back from right wing but always let’s it run across him so he can awkwardly strike with left foot…rather than use his right foot.
Wasn`t it 1-1 at the time of the miss? As such we can`t assume we would have had a 2 goal cushion had he scored...It makes complete sense to me. Should've left it for Brewster, let him spank it over.I understood the topic & maybe I’m being the thread police - it’s hump day so I’m being mardy.
I didn’t feel it warranted a fresh thread to talk about his right foot.
While we’re on the topic though, yes he should have took that chance with his right foot![]()
It could have been, games are a bit of a blur for me these daysWasn`t it 1-1 at the time of the miss? As such we can`t assume we would have had a 2 goal cushion had he scored...
