We can’t rely on his fitness. Every game he’s started and done 90 minutes he’s pulled up. He’s a 20-25 minute player at the moment

In his presser last night Wilder said, or very heavily implied, that the 5 includes a replacement for Souttar.

So unless JJK is to allow Gilchrist to move inside—doubtful, since this has only happened in emergency?—there will likely be a centre-half coming in.

I still think its more likely to be Choudhury than Charles on the basis that Wilder said they were still in for all the top targets and they all wanted to come here. He first mentioned this before Charles was recalled.

Would love Cannonc Louie Barry and Charles. Adding exciting, young players to an already young squad. But we need to balance it with players like Keane, JJK etc.

Would be wonderful if they recalled Charles because they want to send him to us. But more likely he was recalled because they know that chansiri is clueless, they do not like being insulted and know that Sausage Rohl will be their manager next season.
So intrigued to know what Chansiri is going to do to get his own back

I would be happy with either Choudhury or Charles on loan. If we were buying I would prefer Charles because of his age and I think there is more potential for improvement in him over the medium term.
