Brewster is still here for a few reasons, none are due to his ability.
His character, which is apparently first class.
His wage, meaning nobody will take him on loan,
Our lack of options,
And Wilder. I dont think Wilder is ready to admit failure on one of his "big signings". Sander, and McBurnie to a degree, didnt turn out to be the flops we were worried they were at times going to be.

Brewster lively (8/10 for what he’s being asked to do). I got shot down the other week for saying he’s not a winger/utility forward and it’s unfair to try to play him away from central striker (might as-well pay him off for the effect he’ll have). Lo and behold he’s actually a striker and perhaps one that might do well in this formation/team. Fancy him to potentially grab one second half.

Thought it was maybe a tactic like when McAtee pretended he was going to take one and allowed McBurnie to compose himself (West Ham at home last season?). Gunn's efforts trying to put him off were a bit wasted then.

Moore missed one and stepped up again to take another because that’s what proper men do. I imagine after he missed the first there was a discussion and he said I’m the striker I take the pens
