Take a bow Brooks and Peck ⚔️

Hopefully this result eases the anxiety of the bedwetting, Wilder out brigade.

Threadbare squad and we've managed to keep pace, losing only four games, all of which to the highest placed teams, with reverse fixtures still to play.

CW you're doing a magnificent job.

What about O'hare?
So many calls for him to be dropped, but he's worked and worked (all season not just today) and he's starting to really hit some form.
Class in that first half, worked his socks off the 2nd.
Over the moon though for Peck and Brooks too.

Agreed, O'Hare is one of the most important players - is it 5 assists now?

Don't question the bed wetters mate....

They "know" football... If the board had listened to their insightful advice, we'd already have been promoted by now

Might just be me being flaming oblivious, but I haven't seen a single 'Wilder out' claim. No need for the bed wetters comment, IMO.

We all know how well we've been doing, but all know and understand why the squad is so stretched of late. There's a real togetherness about this newly formed squad by the way, and it's special.

To have such a large scale changing of the guard, and an established core of the squad (5-6 years of service?) and so quickly, whilst remaining competitive is incredibly impressive.

What are the point of these threads other than to fuel ego and a feeling of superiority by being "right"?

I don't think anyone has been calling for O'Hare to be dropped the last month or so, he's been great

To be honest anyone who’s said Wilder out was more just an internet troll.

Question for all the bedwetters and doomsayers from pre-season where we were about to drop out of this league too.

Given the fact we are on 52 points, can we still be relegated this season?

Always brings a smile to my face bed wetters lol. Anyhow I'm off to put my piss sheet on the mattress before I get my head down 💦😉

Ok, I’m aware that there’s a very small handful of loons still think Wilder should go, but I can’t believe there’s a “brigade” there waiting for him to fail. We’ve always had “bedwetters” and “happy clappers” in equal measure. But even old Wilder sceptics like me, are absolutely delighted to be proven wrong.

Regarding ohare he is absolutely our most important player out of possession, he's like the conductor the orchestra of press and defense
At first I was disappointed by him as I thought he'd be the new Mark Duffy, who would create and score goals from midfield. But as time has gone on I appreciate him for what he is, an absolute terrier. That said, he still has shockers from time to time. I thought he was awful against Sunderland, but then no one bar Burrows from the bench really stood out in that match.

I seem to remember you having a problem with brook’s starting
You remember incorrectly. I think Rak Sayki is a better player and would start him ahead of Brooks if both fit.

Brooks has a place in this squad. It’s what he is doing now he is someone to come and play 20
Games a season for us or 46 games for someone in league one. Brooks is a young player learning how to become a championship footballer. He has undoubtedly ability but I don’t think he’s a top end championship player just yet.

Hope that clarifies your memory.

So this was you. Sounds like you didn’t want him to start?

Today we didn’t have anyone else, it’s not like we had any other option. It was more in regards to starting ahead of Rak Sayki when he was fit.

Rak Sayki is a far superior player currently and when he’s not fit Brooks should start every game as theres no choice.

Some of the comments in the Brewster thread last week about O’Hare and Hamer were comical.
