Awful game today for me, I thought he offered nothing and was blowing after 60 minutes.

That through ball from COH second half when he decided to stop running was a particular highlight. Won little in the air too.

We’re crying out for a consistent goal scorer imo.

I thought his worst moment was when (Burrows?) crossed it hard and low second half from the John St side and he cut out the cross like a defender!

In a sport thats getting more athletic and faster year on year, we've reverted to playing with a forward who's slow and cumbersome. I get why having a traditional No 9 in the squad is an important option. However, to have it as a Plan A isn't going to cut it, as we've seen in the games against good opposition.

Against the shit cloggers, he's an important weapon as we saw last week v Cardiff. When we play the more athletic and agile teams, he's like a fan who's won a competition.

We had one but he got injured. Last two games have been Campbell type games as he would’ve unlocked the defences with his movement.

I appreciate what Moore brings more so whilst Souza and Souttar are out, he gives height at the back, more than up top. But he was West Brom’s best defender today.

He sometimes has to do the work he doesn’t want to do, like making the run for the O’Hare through ball, he needs to realise that by making that run, he’d open the space for others to get in behind as well.

Poor decisions from Moore today, he just wasn’t at it and I’d have thought that Oné would’ve given more mobility, especially later on as WBA tired

Yea if he had support up front it would help

You won't BELIEVE who we've been linked with signing!

Playing Moore against Bartley and Eggman or whatever his name is was a bit stupid. We invariably go long to Moore and Bartley and his pal dream about that kind of opponent.

Unfortunately we have Brewster or Moore to choose from, unless people think chucking One or Marsh in against 2 experienced CB’s is a good idea?!

Really don't want to disappear down the rabbit hole of criticising Wilder, but there's nothing to say we can't change formation and go with two up front....

If we've got no Souttar, Arblaster, Campbell - then is playing the same formation week in week out still for for purpose?

I thought his worst moment was when he brought it under control in the box and did not look up and lay it off to his left for burrows to run on and smash it at goal … instead he played it back to Davies who has a much more difficult chance of scoring

Going to have to call you out on that. Mcburnies link up play, close control, aerial ability and decision making were all better. I also thing Mcburnie was more aggressive and better defensively. How is Moore better?
McBurnie and Moore are completely different types of forward. The main problem McBurnie had during his time at the club was his (lack of) availability and as we’re seeing with another mini injury crisis the old adage of this being ‘the best ability’ is sadly true.

If McPub ever sets foot inside BDTBL again I’ll give up all hope of us ever becoming a serious football club

Well presumably Burnley and Blackburn aren't serious clubs either, if rumours are to be believed that they are trying to sign him.

The last time he played in this division he got 13 goals across the season. Admittedly that was alongside Ndiaye, but from what I recall his link up play and aerial ability was better than any of the CFs we currently have on the books.

His injury record was a problem, but he wouldn't be starting or playing every game if we have him, Campbell, Moore and One to choose from. Would you not have happily had him on the bench today, considering the options we currently have?

Moore should never play more than 20 mins per game (if we’re chasing) but again our recruitment was poor in this area in the summer. Let’s hope to fuck the new owners invest in January. Probably need about 5 players now with Souttar out. Feel a bit sorry for Moore, he was used perfectly at Ipswich and Bournemouth and contributed so well coming off the bench, but he’s had to play as our sole striker for the majority of the games and it makes him look league 1 standard.

Also it makes us play shit when we lump it forward expecting him to win everything when it’s just a hopeless ball.

His best game was with Campbell alongside him and ever since then they have hardly played together!
spot on we wont see the best of moore until we start playing another striker with him campbell or maybe cannon if he comes this system with o'hare as support doesnt really cut it for me were powder puff in the last 3rd have been all season

I agree he was about 6 yards out and i think his effort ended up near the corner flag .Pity Campbell is out he looks our only threat on the front line .

Which two ?

Dreaming i know but BBD and Cannon up front with Campbell as back up sounds good .Anyway back to reality .
