Lethargic and lackluster

Barely above walking pace football for the last 2 or 3 games in a row.

Need to pick it up for 2nd half or can see this ending in a shock loss
Harsh- total dominance of possession- we are showing that we are clearly the better team- yes always can lose a match like this-'that's life' but this is definitely how you win a match like this.

Good win
Team not quite firing on all cylinders, but never in any real danger today
Some players beginning to look a little tired rather than lethargic imo.
We need our injured players back and 3 or 4 more signings to freshen things up, rotate and give CW more options

Best ever start to a 2nd tier season I believe beating the Warnock season 05-06

This season P22 W15 D5 L2
05-06 P22 W15 D4 L3
Quite incredible really after last season, beyond what any of us could've even remotely thought would happen. 4 tough games coming up but I don't look at any of them and not feel confident.

This is exactly it for me. Last season we were all over the place, had no plan, and looked like teams could score at will against us.

We’ve done every single thing required to turn that around, and yet still people aren’t happy.

Bemusing (bizarre) opinion’ (sic)
There are 2 teams on the field, 1 of which was (purely) focussed on not losing.
They played 2 (very) rigid banks of 4 that rarely (if ever?) ventured 10 yards beyond half way - performed like an ‘away’ team (@ home) -content to smother & hold on to a point (nick a goal?)

Easy to say now, but I felt pretty comfortable throughout that game again. We stepped it up a bit in the second half and got our noses in front and then it was never in doubt. No, it wasn't thrilling stuff at all times but it was a very confident performance where we yet again did exactly what was needed, and did it without having to go full pelt and risk injuries. It allowed us to give ten minutes to Baptiste and RND. I mean, being 5-0 up at half-time would've been nice but I'm more than happy with what I got.

Thought we were classy today, did enough and we were very patient. A sublime ball from Alfie to the under pressure Moore to dispatch a very good finish.

Moore was very good today, tired towards his goal and yet still pulled out 2 very good, clinical finishes.

Leeds smashed Oxford 4-0 at home and that’s lovely, but they’re also 5 points behind us because they sometimes just don’t win the games they draw or lose games they should draw…

Other teams & squads have injuries aplenty too. We are just fuckin brilliant at carrying on keeping on. Well done Chris Wilder and his staff and the players. Some of our fans are great moaners though.

We’re very balanced in the squad
