Fight fight, wherever you may be,
We are the boys from the Chel-sea
And we'll fight you all, wherever you may be,
Cos we are the famous.... erm Chelsea.

On and on,
His second name is Haaland,
On and on,
We signed him from a far-land
On and on,
He scores a goal each game he plays.....

Ooooo Ruben Dias is magic,
He wears a magic hat,
And if you throw a brick at him, he'll head the fucker back.
He'll head it to the left,
He'll head it to the right,
And when we dodge the FFP, we'll sing this song all night.

Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah
We've got chalobah, chalobah,
We've got chalobah.....

Ba*tards....can't believe em!

Spurs fans took "everywhere we go" from us after that league cup semi and we stopped doing it not long after. The fashions and trends of chants is always very fluid and it's weird how some songs just die off while others last years!
Spurs singing the "All we care about is..." song tonight, not sure if we nicked that off someone else in the first place though

Indeed. When I first went “oh Sheffield is wonderful” was popular. Haven’t heard it for 30 years.

We defo nicked the “champions again “ from Citeh and invented Jack Robinson ole ole when at the Etihad
The Jack Robinson chant got sung in response to them singing "Champions again Ole Ole" ?
Thought it started as more tongue in cheek but stuck

A short story.
I was in graphics at Ecclesfield school when I was trying to fit one of our players into the Arsenal tune for Thierry Henry. I decided on D'Jaffo and at the next away game with my mates tried it out. An older fella said "Peter Ndlovu" would fit much better, so we switched it straight away. It started to catch on as weeks went by until Gary Sinclair decided to use it on the tannoy. Later becoming the infamous song that was used as our "goal song" in the early 00s. It was an awful idea, but I have fantastic memories of that time, that team, and that song.

I watched Fleetwood v Accrington Stanley on the box on Monday and the Stanley fans were singing the GCB. This is how it goes apparently…

You light up my senses,
Like a gallon of Magnet,
Like a packet of Woodbines,
Like a good pinch of snuff,
Like a night out in Accy,
Like a greasy chip butty,
Oh Accrington Stanley,
Come thrill me again...

All their own words. ;)

I definitely heard pigs using it for Bernard before we did for Robinson. Definitely tongue and cheek to start though.

I heard that as well(Fleetwood being my 2nd team) but couldn't work out the words.

no pig fans in town to home on the range is about our best original and unique number isn't it? What a song that is.

The fact Wednesday fans wanted Wilder arrested for promoting violence after he sang it in the pub has added even more to the song.

Shoreham boys would easily be our best and most rousing song, if we could alter last couple of knuckle dragging lines.

Sorry guys, but to me the GCB song is a slow meandering dirge…

I couldn’t hear them clearly either, I got the info from an Accrington football chants website. Funny old game that, Stanley should have been out of sight by half time but Fleetwood came back well second half. I’m not a supporter of either team but I often watch the lower leagues to in preference to Premier League games to check out our loaned or ex players, or just to get away from the PL bullshit and razzmatazz.

Just cancel it.
How dare we want to shag the opposite sex and drink beer in this day and age.

Yes totally agree at half time i couldn't see anyway back for Fleetwood but 2nd half totally different side I thought the winger for Fleetwood Patterson was a totally different player 2nd half.

Liverpool have to be the most prolific song thieves. They have some good ones themselves but have nicked plenty including their most famous one You’ll never walk alone. First sang by Man Utd.

Yeah, I love the damned song, but because of the lyrics it fizzles out into everybody mumbling the two lines.

St Helen’ Rugby League fans also sing a song to the tune of the GCB song with some ‘interesting’ lyrics

You light up my senses,
Like a gallon of Greenall's,
Like a kebab from Geno's,
Like a good sniff of glue,
Like a night out at Martine's,
Like a split fish and curry,
Oh St Helens rugby,
Come thrill me again!

(I think this indicates you have to be off your tits on glue to understand the rules of Rugby)

I may be wrong but I seem to recall “You’ll never walk alone” was sang by loads of clubs every so often til early 90s….before Liverpool commodified it.

Also I wonder when and why people stopped singing

A) the score line to “amazing grace”

B) “here we go, here we go, here we go”
