Kieffer Nogoal has a better goal per game ratio than McBurnie during their respective United careers.

If you're going to quote stats it's only really fair to use the comparative divisions. Moore has one goal in 6 appearances or 535 minutes (0.17 goals per 90 mins). McBurnie has 13 goals in 66 Championship games for United, playing 3,510 minutes. That's one goal every 270 minutes or 0.33 goals per 90.Kieffer Nogoal has a better goal per game ratio than McBurnie during their respective United careers.
That is fair, though my comment was a facetious reply to calling Moore "Kieffer Nogoals", rather than a proper comparison, like you've done.If you're going to quote stats it's only really fair to use the comparative divisions. Moore may have a better hold up game and have the huge advantage that he's far less injury prone but on the evidence so far he's not as reliable a goalscorer as McBurnie. I'll also put it out there that Moore won't score more than 2 Premier League goals for us.
Very cool.View attachment 193664Just back to resort from watching Las Palmas, poor standard really with McBurnie coming on around 30 mins to replace an injured player ironically enough , fed off across most of game with no clear chances , really negative team so he’s in for another long season id say, if anyone is over in Gran Canaria fully recommend contacting Stews Excursions who sorts out transport and a ticket in neutral zone![]()

Oh come on Dronnie, you were such a big fan of his when he was here, what's changed?I am informed but cannot confirm my source that the Las Palmas fans have, in a Native American Stylie labelled our old favourite “runs in superglue !!!!”
Make of that what you want to.
Emphatic no from moi.

3 goal contributions in 10 appearances (7 starts) for a poor side who sit second bottom of a tough league (An assist against Real Madrid in those numbers too).
1 goal contribution in 11 appearances (10 starts) for a team challenging for promotion in a second flight division (a lot more minutes played in those games too).
I know who I'd much rather have here.
Agree, however we strung Oli along all close season, he was training with us, expecting to sign.Aye
But it’s not necessarily (or ‘shouldn’t’ be) binary is it ?
If finances allow(ed) I’d have both & even play both together !
You are expressing an opinion, but opinions can look foolish.
You’re going to be disappointed because you don’t appear to understand the type of player he is or his role in the team. But that’s fine, because it’s clear from comments on this & other threads that most people do understand it.
I think we already understand very well what sort of player he is. He is a very good Championship player which he proved in the second half of last season at Ipswich. Unfortunately, he isn't a player that fits into the system that Wilder insists on playing where crosses rarely come into the box and players don't get around him. For that reason he is currently a square peg in a round hole. That doesn't diminish his abilities in any way, but it does say that McB would be a better fit than him in the system we currently seem to be welded to.Nick Jansky, can't help but notice you've liked the post.

Obviously you were calling me foolish for my opinions on Moore after only 4 games.
Given we now have a larger sample size, are you of the same belief that your understanding, outweighs what we've seen in the past 11 appearances?
How long exactly is it until we start to understand what type of player he is?
Neither of them.Oh come on Dronnie, you were such a big fan of his when he was here, what's changed?

AyeAgree, however we strung Oli along all close season, he was training with us, expecting to sign. We're now stuck with a vastly underperforming Moore as our only out and out striker. Absolutely woeful planning from the club, not for the
Having just seen Citeh v Sparta Praha I may have to re-appraise this ?Aye
Compounded by how we chose / choose to utilise them - yes strong in the air - but expecting them to play mostly with back to goal ‘automatically’ limits goal scoring opportunities (irrespective of each of their finishing abilities)
Like (most every) forward (footballer) you have a better chance of scoring if facing the ‘right’ way - looking @ Moore’s goals for Ipswich & McB for Swansea & Barnsley ( including agin us !) evidences this
Good article and it’s nice to see him getting on well there and taking full advantage of the language and culture.![]()
