As the title says really… It is typically seen as one of the biggest months of the season with fixtures coming thick and fast.

No need to try and write an analysis of the opponents, we all know what they are made of this far into the season.

So what is a good return on those fixtures? Where do the points come from in those fixtures?

Massive month.

13 points,

WBA - L
Milwall - D
Plymouth - W
Cardiff - W
Burnley - W
WBA - W

WBA - D
Milwall - D
Plymouth - W
Cardiff - D
Burnley - W
WBA - W

Such a cliche but just got to look one game ahead (or perhaps maybe 2 to consider player rotation etc).

WBA will be a real tough game, and Milwall on their day have played very well. Come out of them in a decent position and I'd be delighted.

10 points out of a possible 18......(3 wins, a draw and 2 defeats).

WBA - L - surely our great run can't continue. We'll have a weakened team and we are well overdue a defeat.
Millwall - D - a tough place, think a draw would be a decent result...altho I expect Souttar and Ahmedhodzic to enjoy dealing with Millwalls crosses.
Plymouth - W - nailed on bounce back win after failing to win in the 2 games against WBA and Millwall
Cardiff - W - a good away win putting us back in a good position

Think we'll either draw both the Xmas home matches or win 1/ lose 1.
Burnley- L - can imagine us messing it up.
WBA- W - therefore we'll bounce back with a much needed win.

I reckon 12 pts out of 18.

WBA aren't great though, I'd say we could definitely beat them twice.

I think taking each game in isolation, we could get 15 points. I'd have Burnley beating us, and that's mostly so I look slightly less of a dreamer.

But it's football, no doubt there will be a draw or two in there.

6 or 7. Any more than that I would be ecstatic !!

Indeed, but I don't think that implies a loss at home at all. They've also only won one game in the last 10, with 9 being draws
You're right — I was taking the stats at face value and being deliberately drawing the obvious conclusion without considering context 😊
FWIW the (seldom seen) optimist in me thinks we can beat them home and away, though Mr Pessimist on my left shoulder urges caution.

WBA (A): W
Millwall (A): D
Plymouth (H): W
Cardiff (A): W
Burnley (H): D
WBA (H): W

14/18. No goals conceded at home

I thought we did really well without those two defenders against Sunderland. Definitely think I will be stood there feeling confident on Sunday at 2:59. Fingers crossed 😅
I think we might go with a back 5 and hope to add to their collection of home draws. I will be hiding behind my sofa until 5pm !!

6 games , need to maintain our 2 points per game so 4 wins required

I havent rated wba since wednesday walked all over them . and they draw a lot

I know we've played alot of games recently but these 9 days between Sland and Wba is great. Players who started and played full 94 on Friday will be fresh.

Going to be boring and say 12 points from next 6.

The standard promotion requirement of 2 points per game.

A point a game? (6 games)

Have you seen our league position and results this season?!
I have and also watched us play both live and on the tv. I am really happy as to how things have gone, but am realistic to know that our record so far against the top 6/7 is not (yet) very good.
I would be delighted if on the back of more points than I suggest you reply to point out how crass I can be !!
