It's going to be interesting to see what team we put out on Tuesday. Obviously, Anel is a big loss but also playing over a half with 10 men will have been a lot more physically taxing as well. I think there may well be a few changes.

........................................Cooper

Shackleton/Seriki ---------Souttar--------Robbo--------RND

------------Souza ---------------Davies

Rak-Saki ----------------Hamer---------------Brooks

---------------------------One

subs: Davies, McCallum, Burrows, Seriki, Gilchrist, Peck, O'Hare, Marsh, Campbell

It wouldn't surprise me if Shackleton started instead of Davies or Seriki. I'm really surprised Davies didn't get some minutes if the intention is to start him on Tuesday. Not sure Seriki will have enough for two games in such a short space of time.

Wilder seemed confident about Campbell but I'd be surprised if he started. You'd probably not want to risk it.

I don't want too many changes, but I think we have a few walking wounded at the moment.

Freshen things up with the likes of Gilchrist, McCallum, Shackleton, Davies and Marsh from 60 mins onwards. If Campbell is fit, give him the last 15-20 too. I also expect Souza to be out, he was clearly struggling with his groin at the end.

I'm really not sure Peck can play 2 games in a few days. He'd almost certainly not be able to play at the weekend if he did, I reckon.

I would hope he can do 60 mins, then we can bring Shacks or Davies on. Hopefully Souza's groin isn't serious, so we can bring him back in for Sunderland and rest Peck for an hour.

If we're missing Souza, I would probably change to 4-4-2 like the Stoke game.

--------Campbell------------Oné

It's a risk given that without Moore and Brewster, our only striker options are Campbell, Oné and Marsh, the latter of whom hasn't played in the league yet, though CW mentioned wanting to play Marsh post Bristol City.

Its also a risk as we would be needing Oné to play for at least an hour, given his lack of experience, but with Campbell we have got a striker in form at the moment so it might work out better for Oné to play alongside an inform striker rather than upfront on his own.

I agree with those wanting fresh legs in the side. Souttar has to play despite that I suppose. For me he looked very leggy vs Coventry, but what can you do. We need energy in the middle and up top. The JRS sub against Coventry can hopefully help us here. Brooks will hopefully start. If T Davies is anything like surely he gets an hour.

I think Souza will be out of the squad with a groin injury. No way Brewster or Moore start, so for me…

Cooper
Gilchrist Souttar JLT Burrows
Peck Hamer
JRS O’Hare Brooks
Campbell

Peck in the Souza role as CDM. Hamer replacing Blaster
Souza looked bolloxed today , someone said cramp but surely groin

Sousa, Hamer and Souttar all need a rest/rotation, injured or not!

Rogbiv made a good point about academy players being inconsistent. Peck proved it with his performance v Coventry.

Nobody wants Wilder’s problems right now. 🤷‍♂️

I think JRS, Campbell, Hamer & Souza might be out injured.. not sure Tom Davies is in anyway ready to start..

Reckon it might be this starting line up..

……………………...Cooper

Gilchrist…..Souttar……….…JLT………Burrows

Brooks…..Shackleton ……. Peck………..McCalum

……………..……O’Hare.

If those are all injured & out we really are in the shit & our lack of squad depth will hit us hard ☹️

I agree with this, maybe swapping Burrows and macallum

All points are worth the same but Friday against Sunderland is the bigger fixture so one starting and Marsh to come on makes sense to me

Watch Wilder go three at the back 😏
I actually wouldn't be surprised given the situation we're in. It makes more players available.

Thin on the ground for this one by sounds of it
No Souza, Blaster, JRS, Moore or Brewdog

Rest a few for the first hour. Try to freshen up the 1st 11 for the Sunderland game.

Seriki Souttar Robbo RND

Rak Sak Davies O'Hare Brookes

----------------Hamer

-------------------Campbell

Subs to use from 60mins onwards:

Gilchist
Burrows
Peck
McCallum
One

We've a few injury worries, but I've got a feeling that this game will be the first for us to score 3+

There's no certs in football, but we must be looking to dominate and win this comfortably.

With injuries, suspensions and a 3 game week I will take another one nil very happily thank you.

Yeah this 3 game week is going to be much tougher than our last one.
Not just in terms of the teams but with our captain out for the season, Moore still not fit, Souza, JRS, Hamer and Campbell all having knocks it would be Wednesday/Leeds-esque to be expecting a walk in the park against Oxford.

If Campbell is out injured then I'd half expect Wilder to play Rak-Sakyi up top as a lone striker instead of One.

It was groin shouldn’t really have played on with it hopefully not a bad one but wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see him until
After Plymouth
Blaster plays on with an ACL rupture after hearing it pop.
Souza plays on visibly crocked after furiously rubbing his groin.
Symptoms of a thin squad or poor decisions ?

All their defeats in that list are by ONE goal and our squad is getting crocked.
They will be rebounding from conceding 6 at home.
No way this is a comfortable win.
