Are there loads of weirdos from our lot on Coventry forums or is this, as I suspect a one sided rivalry they have with us?

They don't have a rival, nobody cares about them one bit, the team they dislike most hate Nottingham forest more than they do coventry, completely pointless club from possibly the biggest shithole city in England, the ground is in the middle of nowhere, coventry away at 12.30 is literally as depressing as it gets, no wonder our fans were quiet, probably all wanted to fuck off somewhere else, and as for Coventry fans, they obviously infiltrate other teams forums cos literally nobody gives a fuck about them. Are there loads of weirdos from our lot on Coventry forums or is this, as I suspect a one sided rivalry they have with us?
I did think that, too. I've not seen that at many grounds where they have a high %age of occupancy in the stands. Pricing must be crazy..?Why's your corporate virtually empty (that second tier )no drummer up there or is Coventry a business ghost town as the specials would say

I think that’s really ironic. Sang for ten mins. Silent unless O’Hare touched the ball. Piss poor. It's a 33,000 seater stadium. 5000 empty seats. Of course it's 28,000.
If only you had a drum, you may not stand in silence for 90 minutes every time we play you![]()

That’s why the pigs do it aswell…They don't have a rival, nobody cares about them one bit, the team they dislike most hate Nottingham forest more than they do coventry, completely pointless club from possibly the biggest shithole city in England, the ground is in the middle of nowhere, coventry away at 12.30 is literally as depressing as it gets, no wonder our fans were quiet, probably all wanted to fuck off somewhere else, and as for Coventry fans, they obviously infiltrate other teams forums cos literally nobody gives a fuck about them.
I always think having vocal home support next the away fans creates a poor atmosphere - I would have thought it should increase the banter. Better to have vocal fans opposite each other.Ten minutes more than the 30 seconds you sing at the start of every game?
They do that every season for some reasonI didn't think much of the barriers that were put up after the game to stop visiting supporters having easy access to the footbridge - we don't all come on a coach.
I never said they did. The Fact is the club you class as your main rivals don't care about you.Forest don't care about Leicester.
Why would he be bitter ?Not bitter at all !

I didn't think much of the barriers that were put up after the game to stop visiting supporters having easy access to the footbridge - we don't all come on a coach. Was told to turn left and use the road bridge, a bit of a route march which most ignored and found a gap from the coach park, crossed the road and climbed the crash barriers in the central reservation. It all seemed a little pointless as by the time I left the ground most Coventry fans had departed

Imagine our fans saying that, it's like a morgue at home for us atm and our away following at Coventry was really quiet.Me? I go home and away mate. Some you win, some you lose, some you draw with 10 men. Nothing to be bitter about. A draw away is always an OK result. I never let it bother me, it's supposed to be a fun hobby
I'm just surprised by the awful atmosphere. As an away fan, you want the home atmosphere to be good so you both get banter going back and forth. There was next to nothing.
But as long as you're all happy with it and keep buying season tickets on the promise of free premier league tickets, I guess your owner will be laughing. See you in March (if you actually go to games)
Respectfully disagree mate. I think you’ve significantly exaggerated on both points, which I find a bit weird if I’m honest.Imagine our fans saying that, it's like a morgue at home for us atm and our away following at Coventry was really quiet.
Would you honestly say our atmosphere at home this season is better than Coventry's yesterday?Respectfully disagree mate. I think you’ve significantly exaggerated on both points, which I find a bit weird if I’m honest.
Which game?Would you honestly say our atmosphere at home this season is better than Coventry's yesterday?
Middlesbrough is just like yours though. A little gang of knobheads with a drum crammed into a few seats together. Manufactured shit.I think it's the absolute polar opposite tbh.
In fact, our home support has got worse since they opened up the old away end to home fans. There's no longer than banter we used to have.
Every away ground I've been to has had a better atmosphere when home fans are by the away fans. Boro being one of the best, Hull and Swansea are good too.
Fair enough, agree to disagree.Which game?
They were playing against a team at the top of the league. You’d hope for.m a bit of a buzz
I think the majority of our home games have been better than Covs yesterday, yes
Singing only done when someone bangs a drum, and for a very short time. From mainly one corner of the ground
Stoke was really flat atmosphere at home, but that was understandable considering the pre game stuff. Derby wasn’t great at all but I’d say it was similar to yesterday.
4 goals. A red card. Should be decent. Our similar home game would be QPR and it was very fiery compared to Cov
I’ve never felt such nervousness in the home derby like this season. I wonder if it’s because we were such big favourites.Fair enough, agree to disagree.
I think the pigs game was the worst atmosphere at a derby I've been in, and every other game was average at best.
We have some away ends that are fantastic, but then seemingly without any reason have them really quiet like yesterday.
When we’ve got onto “our cathedral is better than yours” it’s probably time to put the phone down and spend some quality time with the family.Excellent war jokes. Our half destroyed cathedral is lovely though. Much better than the boring church like thing you have.
Yeah but the train station waterfall thing !!!!!!!When we’ve got onto “our cathedral is better than yours” it’s probably time to put the phone down and spend some quality time with the family.
That doesn't say it wasnt 25k.
7th August just over 21000 so I doubt they sold another 4000 since thenThat doesn't say it wasnt 25k.
Surpassing 20k cluld well mean theres 25k in total now.
Don't understand the hate or ridicule. Wasn't that long ago we had 13k ST holders and getting 20k at home games was an achievement.
Any fans and clubs getting 25k+ gates in the second tier with today's prices deserve a pat on the back.
So true, as a programme seller we pretty much knew the attendance by the amount of programmes ordered and sold at the match if there was 5000k brought in and we sold 4000k sold we were going to be about 16000 in attendanceI was surprised by that as well.
Loads in the “singers corner” and a half decent atmosphere (even though they needed a drummer) for a few moments after they scored. Large patches of empty seats though, particularly behind the goal opposite to where we were sat.
I always wonder if SUFC undercook our attendance figures. When they announce 28/29k at the lane I have a look round and try to work out where they would fit an extra 3/4k.
I remember for years in the 90s our official attendances were way below the actual as turnstile operators were skimming off the top or letting people in for free.
