In the aftermath of our glorious victory, I have been surprised how poorly our friends across the city have taken it.

Most Unitedites were aware that they would come for a draw, as they have done for the last three derbies. Fair enough, we are better than them, they set up deep, kicked us up in the air, slowed everything down, disrupted, pressed hard and hoped for a break. Just as we would have done had the positions been reversed. They didn’t really trouble us but stopped us playing. A special Hames/O’Hare/Campbell moment gave us a narrow but deserved win.

Back in the day, prior to the internet, the strategy would have been to shut the fuck up and wait for your revenge but they seem to have gone full on entitled and it’s embarrassing. A 1-0 defeat is being celebrated as a victory, our “millions” in parachute payments, our diving, our shithousery, Bananas horror challenge was never a red, obvious penalty claims, our silent fans, ours and Wilders post match celebrations. There’s more but I’ve forgotten now.

So I’m begging, if the unthinkable happens in the return, can we have some self respect and decorum please? Their manager is astute and their players are not as shit as I thought they were (who would have predicted Lowes performance?),

Yeah, they're a perfect example of how not to act. I know some of their own fans who are embarrassed by the reaction. Obviously it's great for us because it just adds to it but we should think about it how they are coming across and if we lose next time, do the exact opposite

Agree if the unthinkable happens. on the other hand if we win at their place too... I can assure you that I'll be a decorum free zone 🤣 🤣 🤣

Their heads have gone. They're the entitled kids that have had their toys taken away and are bitter and mardy about it. Excuses, whining, and weird attempts to rationalise the beating are the result. Wilder's humbling of bacon Rohl is unthinkable for them. Their fans were singing noncey songs about Wilder's kids again but they make him out to be the bad guy. Only in Wednesday World.

Went to my local sandwich shop this lunchtime
The owner says "draw would have been a fair result"
Eh?
They're amazing

It is an internet thing all round though. I spoke to one in town afterwards, and asked what he thought. He said utd were just a level better all over the pitch and Weds were always one step behind.

I hate Derby matches just like most of us do, but I expect us to beat them in their own backyard more than I did at our place. No way are they going to sit back at home so I'm hoping the space is opened up for us. Could be a high scoring game.

Fancy our defence to be the difference and would much prefer an entertaining 4-2 win for us compared to a 1-0 bore fest (like the first 45 mins yesterday)

Wonder if the old slag has had any makeup since we were last there? 😂

Like McNulty Kyosho I’m not a doctor but hope some of these titles may come in handy……..

I hope you smashed it up and held his hands to the bacon slicer until he pissed himself out of sheer fear. Or at least refused to buy a cake for after your sarnie.

Pigs fans seriously calling for Wilder to be banned over that FFS 🤣🤣🤣
We have had a strong connection with some of our managers and players, at one point we had a chairman, manager and team captian that all were fans of the club. They have a Thailand owner (who is nuts) and German manager, maybe they are not feeling the passion.

Racist Ron was a decent bedfellow for them.

Fck me, wot are they gonna be like in March when we beat them in there own back yard 😆
I think it will be an easier game at the deathtrap. Their fans will be expecting a win and when they realise it isnt happening the players will feel their pressure even more. Baldy will go missing and their pisspoor keeper will start acting irrationally again. I heard last night on the NTT20 pod that beadle has the worst shots saved percentage of all keepers in the champs.

you would think with all the practice they have had they would know how to lose in a dignified way but having said that they do provides us with some super entertainment . 🤣 🤣
