Really hope we get BBD

if we were genuinly interested in bringing bbd back to the lane that suggests to me that wilder still wants to bring another striker in for the left of the 3 if were going 4231
 
Would be fantastic but i don't think there is a chance unfortunately. Out of our league and we are skint plus he would be on mega money. Move on.
 
Don't think there is any truth that we have booked a medical for him for a month next july .
 

I do hope we're not throwing our season away because the prince is looking for another 10p more for the sale of the club , contrary to a lot of guys apart from the odd stupid blip with the finances he's not done a bad job (just look at the shit show across the city )
He knows he doesn't have the money to fund the club and purports to love the club and fans , I think it's his own ego of "hopefully " being able to say "I'm part owner of a premier club" thats making him try to keep 20% , my opinion is it's time to go PA thanks for your work but ffs give us the opportunity for owner's who hopefully have the funds to make signings like bbd happen in these times 7m is nothing

Do some of you not consider that regardless of the fee he won't want to come back here. He had a good season and enjoyed it here but its nowt to do with the Prince not wanting to pay the fee. He's proved he can do it in the premier league so why on earth would he sign for us in the championship? He has no allegiance to this club whatsoever, he'll go to play at the highest level he can earning the best wage he can.

Not about the fee it’s the league we are in and the premier league wage he wants
 
Shrug of the shoulders from me on this. Was a good player, I liked him, but he also missed a few good chances. Would have been real quality in the Championship but that was never going to happen as he is too good for the level we are and he and his agent know it. Fair play to the lad too, he came to us to play some games rather than just sat in Spain collecting his wage. Was a pipe dream him coming here. Maybe when we are next in the PL, it may be a possibility.
 
If £7m now then why loan last season.

Could we not afford £7m last season and had to loan or did he only just become available for a full transfer this season?

No offence but we inflated his price, when we loaned him he would have been half that at best based on what he'd achieved with them.
 
Loath to speculate, but played in their U21s game a few days ago and they lost 2-0.

Seems out of favour and unpopular amongst fans

Maybe worth an ask, either perm or loan, considering he knows the club and Wilder and hit some form with us last season

I think its one of the most obvious loan in history.

CW likes him
BBD liked it here
He's out of favour
He plays a role we are desperate for
No one in the prem will want him
First two reasons will mean we're at the head of any queue
Wont break the bank

What does the XI look like if BBD were to arrive?
Hamer has been playing that role most of the season.

I can't imagine him being dropped, so one of Arblaster or O'Hare probably comes out of the team.
