Really hope we get BBD

Maybe we'll sign him, maybe we won't, but all I've seen so far is people convincing themselves it's definitely happening based on very little, setting themselves up for disappointment.

I don't think any of us would be surprised to see BBD through the door this January, possibly first signing.

I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out he's actually injured, all this is just fan conjecture, and that he was never coming all along.

Waving the white flag before he’s even got going in his new job is something I highly doubt.

BBD wasn’t even in the squad in their last game, I doubt he’s willing to put his career on hold so he can help Southampton next season if they’re relegated.

I’m probably going to believe Hal on this one.

Agreed, he’ll be on loan to end of season I reckon …..with possibly an option to buy at the end.

I think it's probably nailed on with him not even in their match day squad. Would be very happy with this.

The general consensus of opinion, both from fans and according to some within the club itself is that two of our main priorities are those of a goalscoring striker and a left winger .

The beauty about BBD is that if we do sign him we would be getting both .

I am not at all put off by the fact that he has failed to impress at Southampton . His performances at Blackburn and during his short stay with us and the fact that he is still relatively young are enough to convince me that he would be an excellent signing .

Also when he's injured, we lose both CF and LW, we weaken ourselves enormously.
