I'm in hull and will be walking the humber bridge next week with a hull mate .
Hessle to Barton.
Will be hanging this on the bridge , on the Hessle bench the housemartins sat. And in Barton outside a pub in the lovely town
Will be hung in the grafton in Newlands at night.
Will show pics of it hung up on the bridge .
I detest heights in everyway bug my way of respect for blades we've recently lost .
I actually made all the spikes in stainless on the bridge x 2,600 both sides to stop suicide . They were welded to prevent climbing over .

I hate that bridge. It's not the bridge's fault. Went over it and back twice a day, every day, last November and December when my missus spent the final few weeks of her life in Castle Hill Hospital. Makes me feel sick now, just thinking about it.

Barton's nice though. Going to see John Shuttleworth there in February, at The Ropery. It's tiny. It's like having a performance in your front room. Lovely venue though.

Good on you mate.

Similar with Weston Park Hospital. Not their fault at all, just…

Sorry mate - didn't realise you'd suffered such a loss 😥
